jack is actually more immortal than the doctor. The Doctor has to commence regeneration BEFORE his death. If he is drowned, he cannot regenerate and dies. If incinerated, he wouldn't have enough time to regenerate and even if he did, the next Doctor would still be incinerated. Plus the Doctor has to actually change his body to survive. Jack, however, can be killed, and come back to life without changing. If he explodes, his body is rebuilt again, unlike the Doctor.

yeah i know jack couldnt be killed but he can grow old. and i get the doctor generating but i heard doctor is dying cuz in the planet of the dead this african woman w/psychic future telling that he's gonna die and have to knock 4 times. i wasn't really paying attention on the ending cuz i was talking to my sister. can anyone tell me or explain me what the ending means?

In the Doctor Who Series 1 Finale, captain jack was exterminated by the daleks. Then Rose looked into the heart of the TARDIS and resurrected Jack, but made it that he can't die.

no, he was only 30 yrs old when he met her and the Doctor. After he was resurrected, he aciddently went back to the past (1800s) using his Time wrist (which broke) and joined Torchwood then.

I loved how when on day three Jack put on a new army surplus jacket and said "I'm back." But that besides, has anyone noticed the obsession with 10%? The master got the Toclofane to wipe out 10% of the population, and the 456 want 10% of all Earth's children.
