9 years ago I found a black male kitten on the side of the freeway beside the corpse of his mother who had been hit by a car. A week later I was given a white female Chihuahua puppy - the kitten and puppy were identical in size. The cat now weighs about 15 pounds and has been fixed. The Chihuahua weighs 2.5 pounds and rules over the cat, biting his ears when she wants to be cleaned by him. When she goes into heat, she wants nothing to do with dogs - only the cat, who doesn't understand.
