mahdi (as) ... however the shia version of imam mehdi (as) sounds more like dajjal! Al mehdi (in sunni sources) will be a normal person.. with no special powers.. he will lead Muslims in prayer ect THe dajjal will pretend to be a prophet and then he will claim to be Allah himself. He will pretend to resurrect people from the dead.. even though its just an illusion for the people.. shias believe the 12th imam will resurrect many sahabas and punish them :O

Narrated Jabir bin Samura: I heard Muhammad saying, "Islam will continue to be strong to twelve Muslim rulers." He then said a sentence which I did not hear. My father said, "All of them (those rulers) will be from Quraish." [9]

What is your evidence that Allah made this world for Muhammad, who told you this? You excess in your praise of Muhammad (SAW) allthough he clearly warned us from going into extremes in praising him like the christians did with Jesus (AS). Allah created this world to put us on trial as he says in surat Al Kahf verse 7:
Surely We have made whatever is on the earth an embellishment for it, so that We may try them (as to) which of them is best in works.

Allah is the Lord of the Universe, Prophets are the Messengers of Allah that brings the Message and appoint faithful and guided Imams to take in charge of what has been commanded by Allah. no...not the whole muslims ...only shia believe that the mahdi who will come will be the 12th imam....all other sects of islam do not agree with that. According to Shiaism, his name is muhammad ibne hassan and he was a hidden son of hassan(A.S) whom hassan hide in the cave. all other muslims say that his name will be muhammad, who will be the son of Abdullah(accordint to sahee hadith),and he is not the hidden son of Hassan.thats an allegation against Hassan(may Allah be please with him)
