I'm not repeating myself again. The Hitler Youth was not issued guns. This isn't a battle of opinions or a debatable matter, they simply weren't. Yes, when the Soviets closed in on Berlin, Hitler sent a lot of underaged Germans, some of which were part of Hitler Youth, to fight and obviously they were given guns to do so. This wasn't part of the design of the program, it was an act of desperation.
