This is one of the best pop songs ever made. period. I love how it starts off mysteriously, as if Britney herself is scared about what is going on (the fact that she is in love with someone else other than her fiance). And then the song builds and keeps building to her final acceptance of the fact in the end. It sounds to me like she's singing to the heavens when she says "Me! Me-e-e-e-e-e!!" The beat is incredible. Simply amazing. I will never get over it.

The first one, obviously, is that she is engaged to someone..the boy who bought her the "rock " (engagement ring) that she currently wears. But whether it be in a parking lot or in a club VIP, she sees this guy who is so absolutely stunning and so incredible that she forgets everything (her name, her number, etc.) and sadly, even her fiance.....
