This song is so true for me. I'm still holding on to her and i can't seem to let go. We were together for 18 years and we've been split for about 7 months and she has moved on but, she called me today and this is the first time in months since i heard her voice and right away i knew i was still holding on letting go is just so hard to do. I think holding on is easyer than letting go because i just can't let my thoughts of being with her again someday go. I love her that much.

It was guys like this who got my adrenalin going and inspired me to go onstage in the clubs back in Oklahoma. This great country music made me wanna sing to other people and entertain them the way these guys entertained me back then. The acts from today don't inspire me like that. Country Music has gotten so pop like. One of the disadvantages that Garth and Shania brought to country was that country isn't country anymore.
