  • It'a film about the LOVE of making Film.

Someone has passion and love for cinema, someother has no!

    But they all work together...

The director try to spread his love allover the others, and that love, passing through the unexpectedly reaction of people, transforms the set itself, and also the native idea of the film. That's the incalculable incantation of the Cinema!

  • Two things: I loved (1) the opening with Truffaut taking us behind the camera (as Goddard did in Le Mepris), because I think Truffaut wanted to show the viewer how movies are fake and, maybe simultaneously, that "the world's a stage." I also think he wanted to show how the director is like the Lord--i.e. some humans believe that the Lord directs every detail down to the news vendor's liveliness to the white cat and red car, and (2) the line that Julie must be fine since she married her doctor!

  • hah, i found it at least!

  • Im studying film and we saw this movie in class. It was quite nice and a bit funny too.

  • Thanks for the movie. I'm looking forward to see it.

  • Thank you very much for this Truffaut masterpiece!
