  • I'm italian and I live near venice, I do love your videos and i'd like to suggest you not to use bell peppers and to replace the parlsley with fresh rosemary: you'll get the real italian ragù! =) ciao!

  • nice recepie. when i used to make ragu in class my instructor made us concesse the tomatoes. but using the canned is much easier, i'll just used canned when i cook at the house. thanks for sharing

  • I know that all the great chefs such as yourself recommend using fresh grated Parmesan cheese, Call me crazy, but I prefer the powdery one that comes in the green container with a pop-top lid..haha :P  Nice job, breakfast sausage is a great idea.

    I do think that there is NOTHING wrong with the green container parmesan.

    Although I do believe that the more you pay the better the parm.

    I use both!

    The green can stuff never goes to mold either!

  • looks so delicious, gonna try this. French bread (baguette) halved and toasted and glazed with garlic fried lightly in olive oil, salt and pepper and a glass of red wine and I am in heaven. I appreciate your style, keeping it fun and real, the music was a good touch !!

  • Well Michael actually brought me this for lunch the other day and I have to say it was amazing~ Every bite was filled with flavor, it was spicy but it was not over powering. I'm also one that loves spicy food though. Actually rewatching the video makes me sad that I'm not eating it right now. Thanks Michael! And forum you have to make this it was delicious~

    Yes, you can omit the wine and it will be just fine.

    Go straight to the tomatoes!

    You also can use red bell peppers instead of the yellow for sure!

    Not really any taste difference between the 2 of them.
