10 years as a dancer, I can say with all certainty that Randa is a fine dancer with innovative steps that few can accomplish. Of course, in some videos that we see good and bad presentations. This is normal, every dancer has their ups and downs, but said she did not dance well is crazy!

Excuse me, but she has an immense value to the world of dance and a spectacular technique!

Uhhm yeahh... you mean those Turkish dancers who who were performing half naked in the 80's and 90's and only started wearing clothes when all the Americans and Europeans started showing them a thing or two. The ones whose careers only last till they get a rich husband..... yeah they don't dance for men at all LOL! My only critique of Randa was that in the beginning she was too much like Dina, but now she has her own style and its wonderful.

Ok. every woman's dream is to get a rich husband let's not deny that!! and when I speak about Turkish dancers I mean the technique not the costumes. Check out Elcin and Dadem. I agree with you I hate skimpy costumes they're disgusting and insulting but I'm sure that Turkish people didn't learn modesty from Americans. They're Muslims for God's sake!!!

um22w22 - dance isn't all about choreography, its sometimes just about ability to feel the music and go with it. Particularly with middle eastern dances - its only the west who have made it SO choreographed and contrived. The arabs etc are still dancing from the heart (not that none in the west do, they do), and also... ther eare many dancers who are excellent technique & choreog, but have NO stage presence or charisma. I have to say though, this vid is'nt the best example of Randa atall.

I agree with you. I find egyptian bellydance mcuh more entertaining. Turkish dancers often dance on egyptian music , they do not understand the lyric and that is probably they can not show emotion. they dont know what the song is about. I love egyptian bellydance. It is really the best

@PrinceKayammer That's exactly what Randa told us at a workshop I took with her recently :-) lol She was so magnificent in person. She told us that the Saiidi women dance with heavy footsteps because they are very strong women. I loved that.

Randa does NOT want to be like Dina. Where did you get this? Randa is so much classier and her dancing is breathtaking, she is not comparable to anyone, especially not Dina. Randa has SO MUCH charisma, so much feeling, she is powerful and just phenomenal. The attractive part is very personal though, and I'm not talking about the face. I'm talking about the whole package - posture, personality, classiness, costume choices! As they say "Beauty is in the eye of beholder".
