  • I'm white and I find this disgusting! Indian people should be proud of their beautiful skin tone. I have a Bengali boyfriend and I love his skin tone. :)

  • @TheTinaMarble

Hi Tina, In the Indian/Bengali culture, fair skin is feminine and dark skin is musculine, which is the reason why he is dating you. To your Bengali boyfriend, you are the ultimate representation of femininity because of your white skin and he is dating you because of that.

  • @ASS052 He wasn't born in South Asia. He was born in the United States. He always stated to me that skin tone doesn't matter and if you are beautiful, it doesn't matter your skin tone. And guess what? People think I'm Indian all the time so maybe I am not as fair as I think.

  • @ASS052 and I've been with him for 4 years. If he wanted someone with fairer skin, there are much lighter girls than me. Sorry, not to start an argument but I think this comment as an insult.

  • who ia sthis women name plz .....

    \

  • Wow, that guy's kind of a dick.

  • Indians are racist towards their own kind. Unfortunately it is not only in India. In most countries people aspire to be as fair as possible, and have western features...

  • Welcome to the Indian spirituality!

  • This is racist and to top it a star like Asin does it money .. sad

  • Ok, people can use whitening creams and stuff if they want. But this commercial is just so racist. I mean what her boyfriend broke up with her because she was too dark? This is just so wrong.

  • TERRIBLE AD AND HORRIBLE MESSAGE SENT OUT TO GIRLS AND EVERYONE!

  • this is beyond stupid!!!!!! why cant people understand they are the best the way they are?

  • Ok, that means Asin was actually DARK then she applied this cream and became WHITE then got chance in cinemas. I didnt know that. I guess now there are no more Dark people in her state.

  • ew if a guy treated me dat way id tell him to get da hell lost beauty is in the eye of the beholder if he doesnt find her attractive many others myt

  • wht can asin do? its d director's mistake! she has to do whtever he says even if she finds it dumb!!!!!!

  • @paggi93 dont get me wrong i love asin but she has the choice of what she endorses

  • @mysticdark1 yes,but this is an ad.See most of d ads r so silly nowadays......!

  • who is that guy kidding?

he looks pretty dark in that picture too!

  • How can she forgive that man? Maybe she is crazy for guys.

  • this ad shows u have to be white in order to be beautiful. how sick! beauty isnt from skin color! there r many indians like me and others who arent super white yet beautiful! for an example: kajol, sushmita sen, kareena, amrita rao, trisha krishnan etc.

  • omg, why have to see the beauty by skin colour? this is so stupid!!!!

only low mentality people will think on this way...

anyway, beauty is on the eye of beholder,

shud not have this kind of advertisement in future...

    it shud be band instead!!

  • Why would you even want to be with a shallow guy like that anyway? He probably would've picked a white GUY over you!! What is Asin teaching little girls over there?

  • OMG, that is sooooooo insulting! What if I would take a picture with that guy and when it comes out I would break it cos he is dark, what would I be called then? A racist maybe? Racism doesn't refer only to white people you know. And this add has a YERY racist message. And why after the cream she has her hair and make up done all of a sudden?

Does it also do those things, besides bleaching?

  • @platosfriend Great observation! I didn't even notice that (LOL). I'm going to watch this again. I know they did that to sell the product. This junk wouldn't even sell if they showed how beautiful a dark-skin woman is also. They have to make the "dark Asin" in the commercial, as unappealing as possible so the brainwashing can take effect.

  • @platosfriend lol i agree i dont get it suddenly after the crem is when she decides to have her hair and makeup to...just tells you that this fair and lovely s**** is a joke

  • @platosfriend yes according to others ad it:

    1: find you a boyfriend

    2: make you popular

3: make you parents love you

    4: success in work

    5: money

    7: revenge

    etc

  • It seems like Asin does not carefully consider the products she is an ambassador for, she probably doesnt even use it and just does these adds for money- how desperate!

I am an Indian. I have noticed that Indians dont really set a trend of their own. We just follow whatever others set out, in this example, thinking that being fair is beautiful. If every Indian starts to take pride in his/her brown skin and flaunts it, there will revolution you dont have to be fair to be lovely.

  • OMG! How shallow are Indians - to shoot and run an add like this! Is that all there is to beauty? being fair? What about Sushmita Sen, Bipasha Basu and Tyra Banks?

Asin should be ashamed of herself for signing up for this add. It sends a wrong message to young women who already have lots of image issues to deal with, most induced by the media.

  • FUCK ASIN!!!!!

  • i hate asin..........

  • instead of kicking the douchebag in the nuts she smiles and accepts the flowers WTF

    horrible message to girls

    Dark and Lovely FTW

  • @mysticdark1 amen to that!

  • this is the most horrifying thing i've seen. her worth as a woman was tied up in the fairness of her skin?! yuck.

  • what a despicable ad. anybody with an iota od decency should boycott the actress in the ad.

she is a disgrace, a distortted, ugly fucking disgrace.
