What a beautiful keepsake book. I would love to make one similar.. I have quite a large family. I would love to see a tutorial on how to make that style mini album. Look forward to seeing more of your videos. Thank you so much for sharing.
I think it's important to note that when people are making this for real and not just for demonstration purposes they should probably use a stronger adhesive. Or, just plain MORE adhesive than you demonstrated with. Not trying to be negative, I just don't want people to finish their album only to have it falling apart. :)
Thank you soo very much for showing HOW to put the bags TOGETHER!!! Most of the vids just show the END result!! I am going to be making a mini for a swap and have NEVER done one...soo thank you very much for your video!!!!! Pam
I live in the UK and we dont get them where i live but do you know something i can make cheap but really nice, its my boyfriends birthday in 2 months and i would really like to make one of these, please reply back, thanks and how long do these take ?
Hi Marion! I love your name by the way ;) My question is, since you sewed at the binding, did you use a sewing machine or did it by hand? What do you recommend for those who don't how to sew a lick like me! I saw the video like 3 times trying to catch the part where you did this, but I was only able to catch when you just used tape runner to attach it. Thanks again! I'm a big fan!--Leslie
hey! This video is very cool! I'm just curious about that cutter. What brand is that? and also what do you call that? Hoping for your response cause I've asked my mom to buy me one of those and it serves as an advenced christmas gift for me. Thanks.
what kind of paper cutter is that? that was huge! nice bag. it turned out great. was that made with standard lunch size bags? it looked bigger. thanks!
I still can't figure out how you glued the three pairs of pages together in order to get every other page to not have a flap in the center. I am racking my brain. Can you please provide some direction? I just love this album.
Thank you so much! I just glued two separate signatures together like I did the smaller half page signatures and continued on until they were all one complete book.
Sorry for being thick, but seems to me if you glued the large pages back to back like you did the little flaps, you wouldn't be able to open them up again. Did you use hinges to join the signatures? If you don't want to share, that's OK--you still do beautiful work and I love watching you videos!
It's a spray that seals the project so that the acid and lignin in the paper don't bleed to the photos and cause dis-coloration. You can find it at most craft stores and most picture framing shops. It's available online as well.
Hi marion, Always got back to watch your video over and over again and i dont get tired of it lol!...You are truly amazing.Love your idea and style...I am new in scrapping world i started October last yr. Oh! im from Philippines and scrapbooking is not really big thing here so hard for me to get stuff like you have there. Again, thank you for inspiration :)...Keep it up! :)
I just purchased regular lunch bags from the grocery store. Make you you spray them with archival spray before using them because they are not acid free.
hi, i love wathching your videos..it gave me a lot of inspirations and motivations..and this album is so neat im planning to make it as my next project, but how you bind it together? some already asked you but i havent seen your replies..very nice work and will wait for you next video... :-)
Actually because the book bags are adhered together you really don't need to bind it. It stays together very well. If you like the binded look you can punch holes and tie ribbon or use a bind it all.
this is really fantastic..i cnt stop myself watching all ur vedious..its pretty amazing i just wish i have ll the tools u have too..keep up the good work
I've watched it many times too, and I'd really like to know how you did the final assembly. I see how you put pairs of bags together, but how did you bind them into an album. I really want to try this technique, but that 'missing step' is driving me crazy!
Wow,this is really nice.I can't wait to make one...talking about the noise alongside the musics, I am also working on this.Ive tried to mute my filming but I can still hear the noise.Sorry can't help on that.

Your work is absolutely beautiful. How much do you charge? I am interested in an 8x8 scrapbook with plenty of foldouts and takeouts.

Is that blue thing you use to stick the bags together a tape dispenser?
I've never seen ones like that. What's the proper name for it?
