Theres never been any one like Steve Morse, its doubtful there ever will be. I had the pleasure of seeing him w/Deep Purple in 2001...................I didn't touch my guitar for 2 weeks. He was too frikkn good!

Looks like a homemade video to me. I highly doubt a hired camera man would shoot like that. And if it was me taking the video you'd probably see the floor most of the time. Cause my mouth would be wide open gawking at Steve. :)

I swear man...I just came from a another DD video where I lambasted the camera man for being an absolute IDIOT. THENNNN...I come to THIS D.D. vid and the audio sounds like Steven Hawkings on acid....PLUS the camera work is the WORST I have ever seen. Morse takes a solo and where is the camera???...On the BACK of the bass player who is turned around facing his AMMMMPPP!!!! How STUPID do you have to be to get hired to do the camera editing work for the Dixie Dregs??? ( Who, BTW are all fabulous!)

I Agree, the FACT that Steve is a virtuoso is absolutely coincidential to him. He's just a cool guy.

The only thing that actually was Steve's gear in this gig was his guitar. He had to borrow the rest of the rig he's playing, because all the rest of his own gear was stuck on some airport and didn't make it there in time! It was a great gig though! I met the guys the next day! I have never met any artist as charismatic as Steve!
