3 hatch vs mech works too but its more risky in a way.
2 hatch is simply so that you can counter his rushes and counterattack him quickly afterwards far easier. If you dont get fast enough hydras/spire for example then fighting his rushes and countering them will be harder. Naturally 3 hat works too, but in that case he probably wont lose early on and you need to be able to read his BO better so that his rush doesnt kill you
Isn't it like this too. "If he FE u go 3 hatch were as if he don't FE u don't need to go 3 hatch cause ur economy is still better than his and a 3 hatch will be risky bacause if he don't FE u can pretty much assume he is up to something"
the main reason you dont go 3 hatch is that it's far more vulnerable to 2 port wraith, vulture drops, vulture harassment etc. 2 hatch is a safe way to play and sometimes allows you to get an advantage if they were careless or screwed up. 3 hatch however gives you an economical lead which you would want if you don't mind taking a risk.
its different playing against mech, but not necessarily overpowered. In recent progames mech probably lost way more than it won. Unless the terran is able to do quite a bit of damage early on, the terran will have trouble fighting against a zerg who knows his stuff.
You just need to keep thinking, and exploting their lack of mobility.
dood how do you hot key your hatch, when ever i do it, doesn't work (i only know how to hot key terran)

man mech is so fucking overpowered, all u can do is attack their base or mass expansion (doesn't work if they get dropships)
