Very awesome! May I suggest having a fan to also blow the hot air out? Possibly somewhere on the back panel? If not that 1 fan be just blowing around hot hair rather than being forced out and will keep it cooler and cause less problems later down the road.

I think that resolution notification box can be disabled in the menu of your monitor. It's probably got a toggle to turn it off, but it likely resets itself back to "On" if you interrupt the power to the monitor.

Great job. Why not just use the P1 Start Button for Enter and again for escape by holding it for 3 seconds? That can all be done through Maximus and you wouldn't need any extra buttons.
