  • seems like a pretty ego filled kid...

  • Everyone can play the minor pentatonic box... So I lack to see any "talent" here. If he's playing guitar for 4 years, he should've learnt more than just that one pentatonic shape.

  • Dewey, I'm cut in half pretty bad.

  • you will be the new top blues guitarist when you turn 13

  • -.- idiots hes hardly ten and naturally his voice will be like the way it is in the video, dont just jump to conclusions about drugs and smoking and shit. Let the kid grow

  • look the glasses and the way he acts may seem obnoxious cause he doesn't sound like a little kid did ya ever come to think that he was imitating his idols if you watch other videos of his you notice that the people he cites as his influences acted like this so of course his gonna sound like them hes a KID he hasnt found his own groove yet after all when we were all his age every one of us that looked up to someone tried to imitate them cause we wanted to be them

  • right, so he's been playing over 4 years right? i think he is very good, but his age should be ignored completely, just focus on how long he has been playing...im sure of it, that there is loads of blues players who have been playing about the same time he has who are just as good, im not saying this kid is crap, but there is alot of buzz over a guitarists age, not their length of playing,

And this better not have one of those stupid comment pending approval things.

  • please dont do drugs son, you have so much ahead of you, if you keep doing this you will be one of the biggest musicians of all time

  • I really hope his voice becomes more mature because in this interview he sounds like he's been smoking all day and someone kicked him in the nuts before the interview :|

  • Gotta respect the talent, but face it he is obnoxious.

  • @apestaartje321 arnt all great geinus guitar players ???

  • @matsk830 Hmm.. Hendrix, Clapton, Van Halen.. good point. I guess he's going to fit right in :P

I suppose its just more annoying coming from a 9 year old.

  • you dont have to know how to sing to sing the blues its about expressing yourself and thats what he is doing man just let the kid do what he wants man

  • Who cares if he's got a weak voice... he's 8 years old.... give puberty a chance. Its totally hilarious to see people dissing this kid's skills. And he's received death threats and cease and desist orders from city officials for playing in clubs - talk about "keeping the man down". Reminds me of a Homer Simpson quote: "You tried and you failed. The lesson here is... don't try." Its a "Living the American Dream" fail to the 10th power.

  • what a great blues player

  • say what you want maybe its you that can't tell the difference between fake blues and real blues

  • @indaz1 There's something creepy about an adult who is should "know better" commenting on disliking a child for no valid reason. Let's dislike children who torture animals and save our energy for more constructive things that adults should do (like not be jealous of little children). There is a difference between taste in musical style and talent.

  • @giaktte7 you need to calm down boy ! you need to get laid or something (laid.... the act of having sex with anther person instead of alone)

  • If you can't appreciate blues or don't like his style you're entitled to your opinion, but his technical talent is evident and it's incredible. This is obviously a child prodigy who feels something deeply in his own way for the music that he plays and if you don't like the way a little boy is learning to relate with the world or the faces he makes while he jams then you remain the unlucky and ignorant weirdo with an unfortunate perspective.

  • he has the voice of a young god father, d'awwww

  • Anyone who bags on this kid is jealous of his emerging talent, and the money, fame and toys he's going to have! We each choose our lives and our talents before we're born, so if you hate Tallan, then choose to be a child prodigy in your next life and get over yourself!

  • T-Man... ROFL

  • "The most fun was going to Dallas, TX!!!" Love that!! Come on back, kid!!!

  • he may only be nine but what a major douche!

  • he's talented but i dont like him.... i hope he gets more experience and improves his style.

  • needs to play and not sing his voice isnt too good. but he also needs to not scream while playing.

  • @oremtiger14 leave it to paul mccartney to scream.

  • hate me if you want but i just dont like this kid

  • This man is crazy xd

  • he needs to work on his singing.

  • scary how good he's gonna be in about 15 years if he keeps it up O_O

  • he sings like a old blues guitarist. awesome!!

  • Hmmmnn...what could you do when you were 9 yrs old? Think about it!....BTW, you're hating on a 9 yr old child who has more soul and talent than most of us combined.

  • i under stand this kid is good hes just to young i think and he doesnt have good style so i hate his style but hes still good hes just an annoying kid

  • @SuperCrazychester i know what you mean i see derrick trucks play at a young age and i think WOW but this kid he just seems fake

  • Fake - "a Term used to describe or imply that something is not real or that it is false." LOL. Hmm? Heart beat, he moves. I think he's real - (although there's a slim chance I might be mistaken). The thing is; geniuses, prodigies and other gifted people tend to be quirky and eccentric . Sorry you don’t have that kind of talent “supercrazy”- btw , your name, how apropos!

  • imagine how good he'll be when his fingers can reach more than 1 fret haha

  • burn your kids guitar hero!play or be a puss!!!THIS IS WHY!

  • @ericjohnsonroxx What the hell are you talking about not that good!!! Joe Bonamassa had him on stage in one of his concerts!!! Who the hell are you to judge this little man? You are just pissed off because he is famous and gets to play with the greatest guitarist of all time!!! Get over your selves

  • this kid makes justin bieber $hIt his pants :)

  • I hope he takes care of his voice...he sounds a bit horse during the interview...

  • @SUPERJAG69 yeah bro, he's fucking 9. he'll work on it eventually.

  • If I was the owner of Fender, that kid would never pay for a guitar again.

  • @w5pda trust me, im sure he doesnt pay for his guitars, or his parents

  • the kids name should be TALENT latz

  • i think hes soo talented but i suspect hes got really pushy parents

  • @scifipro actually it's quite the opposite. look into it more and you will find out

  • The next justin bieber..... oh wait he has a REAL Talent never mind

  • Wow wtf was that at 1:46 ???? Someone stick a fucking ginger up his ass or somethin'

  • Can't believe he was eliminated at America's Got Talent. Anyway, he can earn a million dollars without them. Mad props

  • @samdrum08 How can he earn a million dollars? There are thousands of guitar players that sound just like him. He's not showing any signs of being anything special in the way of originality or creativity. He's playing generic blues. The most he can EVER hope for is to become a one hit wonder or be a studio musician. There is way to much hype around this kid. He has yet to prove anything more than learning blues guitar at an earlier age than 90% of the population.

  • I'm a lead blues guitarist in pinnelas county Florida I need a band that consists of a rythem guitarist a bass guitarist a singer and a drummer or one of u guys could bring a drum machine. Plz respond I will be checking my account for responses daily

  • 1:47

  • i think this kid will sound better when he hit puberty, but still i do have to give it up to this kids, i am more then impressed!

  • he will soon need to come up with newer ideas and blend music like i have learned over 7 years of playing.now im 14 and wish i learned like this kid did. i belive this kid needs a little english rock like the who, rolling stones, zeppelin and american folk art and blues to get a true driven blues rock and lyrical magic to pull the audience in, some johnny cash and bob dylan wouldn;t be bad for this kid. seems to be a deep thinker just as i was.

  • SRV mini

  • YEAH! The rangers toped atlanta 3-2... good day!

  • @yakchirscarlson hahahaha

  • This is Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Blues edition!

  • 1:47 JIZZ IN MAI PANTS

  • 1:47 he jizzed in his pants he was playin so well

  • @crazyguitarkid77 ha ha ha..

  • Power Of music

  • It is weird that a 8-y-old-boy playing EMO style. I don't like it.

  • @ch000253 Emo? It's The Blues, nothing Emo about this. Take you hateing elsewhere. Opinion or not, if you don't know anything about Music you need to keep your thoughts to yourself. This kid is amazing. That's not just my opinion, its a fact. So piss off d-bag.

  • the kids good no doubt, but boring as shit.. sorry

  • @gtrmaster2000 he's still a kid man, let's watch him grow up first ;)

  • @BeAsTm0aD just saying, for right now lol im sure he'll be fine later

  • @gtrmaster2000 ya man just playin haha he is definitely hard to watch. I just laugh cause he's a little kid, you can see everyone trying to support him even with his awkward gestures. It'll be interesting when he's 15

  • some should introduce rock to him

  • mmmmmmm that tight little asshole. if theres no grass on the field im playing in the mud

  • bieber killed his dreams!

  • he screams and looks like a retard to much

  • Sounds like Buddy Guy...looks like Steve Miller !!!!!

  • fuck Justin Beiber. THIS is talent

  • his voice is deeper than bieber

  • This is what happens when PARENTS feed the kid with the RIGHT music from time, where talent and originality mattered, not this bullshit kids listen to today. If T-Man grew up listening to today's music, he would have been just another regular kid playing out in the snow. Another example of Prodigy is JACOB ARMEN, drummer since same age. AGAIN, listening to Blues, Jazz, Funk, anything but Hip-Hop.

  • Good playing but he is presumptuous. With his way of doing so does not make nice. In my opinion children should remain in place and not be included in the show at this age. Could practice until it becomes a bit older, but then we could no longer provide an opportunity to exploit a little miracle.

  • haha dig his shades man!

  • lol he's a prodigy but in a very basic way? What's that, a mere 3.7 on the scale of genius? You sir are full of shit. I have friends who play the guitar for years and can't play the blues as good as Tallan. If you listen to the k1-5 compositions of Mozart as a child, they aren't groundbreaking either if you wouldn't know they were composed by a child.

No, this kid Tallan has loads of talent and I can't wait to hear him play the blues when he reaches adulthood.

  • As far as musical child prodigies go this kid is barely there. Yes, he's a prodigy but in a very basic way. Most child prodigies play material and technique that is far more difficult and sophisticated than what this kid is doing and a huge part of the effect he has is based on the cult ideas of "the blues" The loud electric sound, the bending strings etc. .. in other words, he's a basic child prodigy with a lot of hype and props as opposed to a truly phenomenal child prodigy.

  • @ybyainc please send me a video of you while you were younger than 15 (he's 9) doing anything useful. Let's see if this criticism is justified or just another lot of bullshit.

  • @mouradbrens The only skill or talent on my part that should be of any concern is my ability to recognize the differences between the musically technical capabilities of individuals. For you to suggest that my ability to play the guitar well at a young age has jack squat to do with my ability, as an adult, to see the difference between a child who would be considered a true prodigy among musicians and a general prodigy among the rest of us is an entirely flawed argument.

  • @ybyainc You're getting me wrong, don't care about your criticism or view of music. All I asked you to do is show me if you did ANYTHING useful when you were at a young age, anything artistic. Doesn't matter if you played the guitar or wrote words on walls with your pee. Plus, what makes you a good critic of talent? This kid is a prodigy and one of a kind in the sense that what he does 99.9..% of kids in his age group can't do. Or more specifically, most of them are playing games on ps and xbox

  • @mouradbrens I was artistically above average as a kid, got a couple of awards etc.. iv been considered a naturally talented person all my life. been told i should become a professional artist, writer, comedian, musician, writer.. but i am merely good at these things. Being absolutely brilliant is an entirely different thing from just being really, really good at something. This kid is not among the most brilliant, thousands of children his age play far beyond his level.

  • @ybyainc Hey you fucking loser STFU this kids great. your just upset u grew up to have one SHIT life u fucking faggot

  • @Ikypoo Sorry i hurt your feelings, but im just telling it like it is. The kid is definitely talented, but there's no proof he's world class, or artistically brilliant. The problem is that you have generic, mediocre taste in things, and simply dont know how to recognize the difference between loud and flashy stuff and brilliant art and skill. You are a regular Joe, simply average.

  • @ybyainc he's nine

  • He just wants to use the phone?

  • lots of fenders XD

  • shocked by the scream in the beginning, the rest was nice

  • aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhghaaaaaaaaa! lol

  • Holt shit, this lil guy is... wow!!! i don't even have words!

  • Well he may be a tool in his private life but he is undeniably one of the greatest guitarists and overall musicians of our generation. He inspired me and thousands of other musicians.

  • dont do weed little dude

  • @master7107 why else do you think he wears those sunglasses? jkjkjk

  • holy crap!!!!

this kid is good!!!! litle john mayer in the making:)

  • @airbornemike380 I hope not. Mayer is a tool.

  • he sounds like an old blues guitarist.

  • 1:47 EMO SCREAM!

  • lol i wonder how the others playing with him must feel

  • @tigerbuddy101

    lol ok period.

  • this kid is fuckin awesome. but at the moment he definetly should not sing, just play on the guitar. im stoked to see where he heads

  • @MetalHead420100 he's not a bad singer to be honest

  • @Gamenamer ya. not awful. he's a little white boy singing the blues, so i didnt' expect it to be anything special. but he still shouldn't do it

  • @MetalHead420100 So only colored people are allowed to play the blues? The blues is about the feeling of the music. It's coming from his heart. He loves it. He's also nine. Don't be a tool.

  • @jumpstyleguhh no. sry. i said sing the blues. i dont care wat fuckin race you are, you can play w/e u like. i dont discriminate. i know its comin from his heart, i know he loves it, i cant wait to see how he turns out as he gets older. i was just talkin about his awful singing voice( i do understand that he's a little kid, and i dont expect a voice like john mayer or anything)

  • i love this kid he is awesome

  • ha! guitar on the other guy looks tiny

  • This kid would be playing with Hendrix

  • JOE SATRIANI!

  • Fantastic, keep it up ' T '. Kids like you give me hope.

America has some f@#$ed up rules! I can't believe they won't let you play in your own state. You're not drinkin', you're playing guitar. I believe the song goes " mama, let him play some rock n' roll", so LET THE BOY PLAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We love ya in Canada. Keep it real.

  • play he can, but sing he can not.

  • @heinegud

Suppose you can? How old are you? Jealous!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Moron!

  • Great job kid!! it's phenomenol to see the feel and emotion in such a young kid.

I thought I started young at 13, this just goes to show, put your heart into it and the sky is the limit ! this is a gift, not any moron can play just because they practice, i teach guitar and know kids who practice but get nowhere, If you think god has nothing to do with this then you are a complete idiot!

  • way to do it young brother hope to jam withya sometime yeeeeeeha

  • This is God's Gift to Tallan The great all mighty is trying to say something to us brainless people...believe god is real..Tallan is real and will be one of Americas greatest ever and in the world.

  • @endermoh1 What the FUCK has God to do with this? This kid has been practising for hours and hours and hours since he was 4 years old. Apparently you didin't know that pracitising gives you actually skill.

  • Out of one soul the Blues speaks to us through those who find its voice. Tallen stirs us with a language only souls understand and only a soul can reach.

  • This is what happens when you choose to buy your Kid a real guitar and not a brain killer "Guitar Hero" Kit! Up your sorry ass Guitar Hero loosers! Mad props to this kid!

  • @phillipm1 yeah actually lots of my nearest and deares willt agree with you

  • @phillipm1 guitar hero isnt supposed to teach u how to play guitar.

    guitar heros just a game

  • It makes me glad that this kid is on the road to music instead of video games.

  • Haha Im a 26 yr old wid a now 10 year old hero, this kids got major talent. Just watching him play, Im giving up R&B guitar, and picking up the Blues

  • thats my dream

  • Wow he is just amazing, but his parents should care about his lack of humility and arrogance, he's just 9, when he become an old boy, he'll be unbearable. He is really a rock star...

  • @Forgosss Dude... don't be such a sore looser.... keep playing Guitar Hero! While this kid keeps on his journey to fame!

  • @phillipm1 hahah, do you think you know something about me to say that??

I haven't yet played GH, I will, someday...

And you must think twice before posting something here, fool.

  • @phillipm1 Just like you, think twice before posting, noob

  • @phillipm1 Yeah guitar hero is fun. I'm not being offensive with you, you should take care over your words boy.

  • Wonder why Tallan's guitar volume is not treated well.

C'mmon the tone needs more focus there...

Looks like the studio engineers are sleeping.

Nevertheless great job Tallan..Wish you all the best..You rock!!!

  • Comment removed

  • Since the age of 4 woawwww

  • i lol'd so hard @ 1:47

  • He may only be 9 and not be old enough to "feel" the blues but if it is a past life carry over, then he can definitely still feel them.

  • @blabblab1212 age doesnt have anything to do with feeling the blues

  • Freaking Awesome!!!

  • SRV IS BACK!!!

  • @Rockosiffredy 100%, Brother!!!)))

  • @Rockosiffredy Soooooooooooooo F-in

  • @Rockosiffredy sooooooooooooooooooo true

  • This kid is amazing! Funny though to hear him play the blues... at 9 it's definitely lacking authenticity, what has he got to be blue about - maybe he dropped his oreo cooking into his milk glass (ha, ha)

  • @flashMXdesigner Kraft mac and cheese blues the blue box blues

  • Joe Satriani Jr o. O I can't wait to see how he plays when he is 18

  • Stevie is BACK!!!...thank you Tallan!!

  • He is really good o_O

But his voice sounds a little hoarse like he's sick or something :(

  • @EatingChannel Probably just nervos

  • Question: Why is the guitar on the stand backwards at 3:46?

  • /watch?v=bCx3ICTJxFA

  • its like if he and Quinn Sullivan were in a movie (a movie about kids playing guitar or something), Quinn would be the good guy and T-Man would be the bad guy...

  • man, I want him to just shut up... something annoys me when he talks, he seems like a jerk...hes a good guitar player though...

  • his parents must be fuckin rich cos every vid ive seen him in hes got a different guitar and there not cheap ones

  • @R4ND0MREVIEW5 no; they arent rich his mom has to work all day, and if he has to travel then his dad goes with. Plus the guitars are from endorsement deals so he can get them cheaper...or free.

  • the band must be thinking "why the hell am i playin for him!"

  • does t man have a youtube channel?

  • @networkse7en Yes he does.

  • @IAMJOHNNYTHEFOX

I bet the fagit jonas brothers never played guitar with les paul

  • @Jordo1900 No, the Jonas Brothers never played with Les Paul, but, on the other hand, they never played guitar in the first place

  • superstar my ass. nobody has ever heard of him. hes extremely talented, but not a superstar. the jonas brothers are superstars.

  • where is he now?

  • lol when he screamed he made me laugh

  • bacchus strat. kick ass handmade guitars. keep it up kid

  • he is great.. but his talking voice sounds ill.

  • He's definately going to be a successful musician later in his life.

  • weldone kid, at least youve not spent your time killing aliens on a ps3.. and also kept away from the brainwashing mtv shit.. talent in the makin..keep it real dude..

  • This kid pwns us all. Any fan of blues music can see that he truly has talent. By the time he is "legal" he will be AMAZING. He also seems like a very sweet kid, well-mannered and pretty humble.
