Hello Greg!! great playing as always..i wanted to ask you What Radius does the neck have?..is it a good guitar to Buy in your opinion..bevause they are cheap...do they stay in tune pretty good? please reply..thank you!
zemaitis guitars a bit too expensive for me, i'm still a student, then i heard about alden guitars and greco, i hear they have similar designs, might i ask where i can purchase them? and maybe the price's that they go for?i would love to get a response!
@ErolTeVe The aluminum tailpiece is the same as the one used on a Gibson/Epiphone(for the most part, Aldens/Zemaitis is not much more than a Les Paul variant). Readily available from a variety of suppliers(Allparts, WDsupply...Google it)...the thing to remember is that the Aldens use metric-threaded studs if you're going to replace the bushings as well(though it should be a simple case of swapping the tailpiece)...most kits come with studs and threaded bushings.
Greg do you ever do any rhythm demos? EVERY demo I see its the single note lead lines over and over. Some you tube guys would like to hear you rock out and take a break from the leads.
What type of HD camera are you using here on all of your clips Greg! Every time I try to film one I get great picture but the amp always overdrives the internal microphone. Any tips of not overdriving the internal camera mike??? WOuld really appreciate some help. It's probably a must to get a new camera. Thanks man and keep us the great work!!!
I have two signals: the line-playback from the computer and the guitaramp, miked with a AKG D-320 B
The 2 signals are going to a cheap Behringer mixing desk Xendix 1002 FX. And a line-out from the mixer (with the two signals) goes direct to the camera. The camera is recording everything at the same time. That's it. I don't use no recording program. I don't do the editing (the camera man Stefan is doing that, I don't know wich programm he is using). All the best, Gregor
Hey Greg! I am just visiting your YouTube page for the first time and I love it! You have a great touch! On this posting with the Alden Z style, what are you using to get the slightly overdriven sound. I see your amp preference appears to be the '68 Fender Vibrolux. Are you using a particular pedal? If so, which one. I am looking into buying one of these Aldens and the ones I saw say Alden at the top of the headstock. What's the story here on yours? WHat happened to the ALden logo!
