  • @dizzo95 Wikipedia you say?...Lies.

  • DEAR VIEWERS,

FOR ASTONISHING FACTS, JUST TYPE ON THE SEARCHING BOX:

    Quran and Science

SEVEN PARTS! YOU MUST LIKE THEM!

  • it's surface looks like velvet...

  • I wonder what it would look like if Mercury crashed into Neptune. Or what it would be like if we genetically engineered micro organisms and plant material to survive in -200 degree temperatures and then kept bombarding Neptune with them.

  • @berner My understanding of it, (keep in mind I'm about as amateur as you can be when it comes to astronomy), is if a planet/comet etc, with the same mass and density of Mercury was to crash into Neptune, the effects would be...well, hard to determine due to a number of things. Even if the mass and density were the same as Mercury, there are other factors...such as speed, trajectory etc. etc. It wouldn't "Shatter" Neptune, I'm at least pretty certain of that. My best guess would be....

  • @BeholdMyStrength ....would be that an event similar to the one that will take place when Triton eventually crashes into Neptune. In that most of the offending object would be ripped apart by both Neptune's gravity & atmosphere, which, while a major chunk would actually hit the planet, most of it would be thrown into orbit, giving Neptune a series of rings...much like Saturns. At least that's what they expect when Triton crashes! And I'd imagine it'd be quite similar.

  • jupiter and neptune are my favs, so full of chaotic events :)

  • This makes me want to watch sailor moon ..... my favorite sailor person scout girl thing ..person ..lol and jupiter

  • The second system solaire blue planet. I believe , Neptune was a magic planet like earth..

  • I LOVE THE WEATHER OF THE PLANET NEPTUNE...........

  • why do you think that water can be reason for life on another planets?

water is a reason for us but why you can't imagine small forms of life ffor EX: on mars, that could live witohut water,or in an extremal temperature and ETC...i mean that earth is excelent living place for us... but what if we had a different strucuture organism and we could live without water for some monthes, such a way europe, neptune, even mars nad neptune are places were we could live...

i would be glad if some1 guesed.

  • @lashatotladze Is the planet neptune has a surface were you can stand on? like rock surface or like in mars? im just curious. do you have any idea? pls reply.

  • @24kojiful :

as i know winds blow fastly on neptune, that can say that there are no massive rocks and mountains nad if i am right the planet's whole surface is only water and ice. even if neptune is too far from earth, it might have interior energy which could workout some worm, and it could be enough for some life structures.

  • @lashatotladze you got a point. but some people says that the surface is so far down right? and i think there's a possibility that we can live there because it has air or wind, water and ice. I think the surface of the neptune is ice right? and im just imagined that when your in the surface or inside the neptune, then you look above, you will see many dark blue clouds that moves fast because of the wind like a typhoon or something but its dark like 6:00 PM here in earth. i also saw it in tube

  • @24kojiful :

it's possible also, but only one mistake, human can't live on any other know planet for today...yet

it's air can be poisonous for us, it's water may be the same, but cloud... what do you think, if there is temperature under -200c why there are clouds? you think it's the cloud like we have on earth?

  • @lashatotladze oooops, sorry for my mistake. i know i was wrong that people cant live on neptune haha. silly me. i thought people can live there because of wind, water and ice. and yes. its the cloud like we have on earth. i saw it on youtube about their studies on neptune. the clouds are moving fast and some of them are thick. its dark like you can see in our planet earth in the time of 6:00PM or something like that.but with thick clouds on it. it has a core, mantle, crust too.

  • @24kojiful :

on earth, are places where the water runs to the boiling temperature, to +80-100c

this is in ocean where the volcano gazis and energy comes to the surface of the earth... and this comes from interrior energy, even there are life forms (some kinds of fishes, they are white) so i have supposition that such energy has most of planets and we must look for life by this way... not by the way that includes to look only for water and the planet's distance.

  • read stan romanek's book "messages"-and you will know what that black thing is.

  • er.. well.. uranus has winds of 1000-2000 MPH. if you were there, not only would you not be able to walk or hold in one position, but your flesh would be ripped at the center, that is, if you aren't already suffocating from the methane gas.

  • uranus rox cause its ur|anus

  • @sadowfeenux wow, and you are how old?

  • Happy birthday Neptune! Neptune was discovered on September 23, 1846, which means on this day in 2010 it is 164 years since the planet was discovered and its orbital period is 164 years, so it's done one orbit since its discovery!

  • roman mythology is basic at best

  • is like the sea <3

  • neptune is also a gas giant

but there can be a possibility

that inside it has huge plates of ice

    and maybe water(who knows)

    but to know about this

    we'll have to wait

until the NASA have enough technology to make spaceships that can't be destroyed by gas planet's atmosphere

like what happened in jupiter when they seend a sattelite to go inside but it was

    crushed

  • ok......

  • I thought the god of sea was cosidean or something like dat the c is s

  • @cazle6 names vary from culture to culture,

it WAS Poseidon to the greeks, and neptune for the romans.

    same concept different name.

  • NEPTUNE is named after one of my favorite gods which is neptune god of the sea

  • He says the dark circle is going east. Looks like its going west to me.

  • @scopemanfly maybe its upside down? xD

  • it was scarey

  • i thought it was made of water :'(

  • love blue color

  • i love that deeply blue of neptune..!!! and how interesting is that strong blue spot on it, could it be like the phenomenom of jupiters red spot?

  • I think the strong blue spot is called a storm, much like Jupiter's red spot.

  • uranus is the best

  • This is water planet without life :D

  • i once i had to write a paper about this planet

  • I LOVE NEPTUNE!!!!!

    It is my fave planet

  • @gangster4257 My favorite is Earth.

  • @gangster4257

    Mine too

  • @gangster4257 neptune and jupiter r mine

  • @gangster4257 mine too,along with Uran!

  • I love Neptune!

He es so far away, not to understand for us.

  • neptune is a cloud planet the god of clouds and waterit looks like theres water but theres not but the core is water

  • Is Neptune a water world lol?

  • It is where God Neptune of the Sea lives. Lol!

Also King Triton and the Little Mermaid lives there too! Lol!

Go and worship the God Neptune and get blown away like dust. Lol!

  • And imagine if Uranus and Neptune collide together and the God Neptune can get inside Uranus and say "but this is not my Sea what the heck is this place?". Lol!

  • The True God is everything that exists, the whole Universe. To me, that is God.

  • No, its methane "As they say" thats making it blue

  • KICKASS PLANET

  • LOL GO ON MOUNT ALIPOUSE!

  • if we use a lighter in neptune, will the planet explode ??? LOL XD!!!

  • lol nice point hahaha

  • Lol if it does, the cigarette company wouldn't be please with this news

  • lmao i know right

  • we should like send a missile and see

  • cool place im lovin the dark blue blob that wavers around

  • Well, There could be life on the other planets. But not some green men (Like in Mars). Life can also be pictured as bacteria and other micro-organism.

  • wow just wow

  • what other planet besides earth has water?

  • from Wikipedia:

Ceres, is the smallest identified dwarf planet in the Solar System and the only one in the asteroid belt.

With a diameter of about 950 km, The surface of Ceres is probably made of a mixture of water ice and various hydrated minerals like carbonates and clays. Ceres appears to be differentiated into a rocky core and ice mantle.[4] It may harbour an ocean of liquid water underneath its surface, which makes it a potential target in the search for extraterrestrial life.

  • You are wrong, actually there are many trans-neptunian planets and other plutoids. Sedna, Quaoar, Makemake, Eris, 4 Vesta, Varuna, Haumea, Orcus, Ixion, 2002 TC 302 and Ceres.

  • @dizzo95 Whatabout Europa?

  • @dizzo95 You know wikipedia isnt always accurate right?

  • @dizzo95: COOOOOL!!!

  • @dizzo95 what about Pluto?

  • @dizzo95 is there a rock or something on neptune that you can stand on or its just a wind. do you have any ideas. pls reply.

  • @dizzo95 Is the planet neptune has a surface were you can stand on? like rock surface or like in mars? im just curious. do you have any idea? pls reply.

  • @dizzo95 we will find life on the moons of jupiter too.

    ill bet

and on the moon ,on the spot were the americans landed ,

must be some flees there .

    lol

    im kidding

  • Mercury has frozen water. Venus has evaporated water. Earth has water that is frozen, liquid, and evaporated. Mars has water that is frozen, liquid, and evaporated. Ceres has frozen water. Jupiter moons have much more water than Earth does ranging from liquid water and frozen water. Saturn's moons have water that range from frozen water to liquid water etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. etc. Water is very common.

  • Its the most common element

  • @NekoRunkz1 I think some moons have water, mars probably used to, and ceres has water

  • @NekoRunkz1 Uranus and Neptune have water inside of them you know. that, i think might be just crap

  • @NekoRunkz1

Europa has water (even saltwater lakes).....but it's not a planet tho.

  • We are only able to travel and land on planets that are made of solids...what's so amazing is that we are actually able to land on venus...which is hotter than mercury (which is the closest planet to the sun) venus is the most interesting planet...seeing that it's earth like and would be able to sustain life if the atomosphere didn't consist of 97% carbon dioxide and temperatures reaching 900 degrees Farenheit.

  • Thanks for showing this, Neptune is almost 70 times the volume of the Earth.

  • why neptune has a great dark spot?

  • 800 mph winds would rip you in half toughguy..

  • thats 2500kph in the books

  • no, Neptune is packed with clouds.

It's the planet with strong winds.

If man sets foot there they'd be carried

    away....You can't see anythink but

thick clouds. And plus there's too much

gas or w/e in that place.

  • yeh XD

  • isn't that the planet covered in ice?

  • wiindiest planet in the solar system
