  • People are always going around saying 'How could anybody dislike this?' Well... usually it's a matter of opinion, but this, this being brilliant is just fact. HOW? How could anybody dislike this? Just... how?

  • debo decirlo me relaja mucho...

  • Ok, I love this version more, because 03:55

  • Very fun song to play on guitar, simple chords, funky beat...just perfection

  • At the bar on Saturday, a guy said to me, "I don't like the Beatles." I said, "You sir, are a fucking idiot!"

  • @zoltar5282 Yeah! How dare he have his own opinions!

  • Slow it down so we can think about it =)

  • @da12ius you better free your mind instead!

  • Man, am I the only one who feels high as a kite when I listen to this!? 8D

  • i actually dig this more than Revolution now. I've had mixed feelings for a while, but theres something about this one that is just soulful.

  • Revolution 1 > Revolution

  • @TheCaponeMethod Dumped her? I woulda thrown her out of the car

  • Comment removed

  • @SimpleGlitchers360 i think that's what he meant by "dumped".

  • I love The Beatles so much more than this (c)rap music that's on nowadays

  • @MeAndThem21 gtfo, :D thanks

  • @MeAndThem21 w/e no life.

  • this is better than the other version

  • You feel soo high when you listen to revolution then revolution 1. xD

  • Beatles is real music. Someone should explode an emp over all that auto-tuned electro crap and fry the heck out of its circuits!

  • @RUGunzD3l3R66 Auto tune itself is not a bad thing, its when artists that have no musical talent WHATSOEVER use it that it becomes bad.

  • I was in the car with my girlfriend when this song came on. I began singing along and said "The Beatles are the best musicians ever!" then she said "You're kidding me? Ke$ha is soooo much better." I then dumped her.

  • @TheCaponeMethod That Makes Perfect Sense

  • @TheCaponeMethod When you say 'Dumped her', I hope you mean you threw her out of the car. :)

  • @TheCaponeMethod Even people who listen to pop music know that Kesha is shit!

  • @TheCaponeMethod When I turned The Beatles on, my girlfriend said that they were the best bend ever.

    Ha.

  • @TheCaponeMethod You did right.

  • @TheCaponeMethod good one

  • @TheCaponeMethod wow congrats on dumping that Ke$ha i had no idea who that was until i just looked it up after seeing the name here lol

  • @TheCaponeMethod good job =) now she knows not to talk shit about the beatles lol

  • @TheCaponeMethod sorry bout the loss but i would have done the same

  • @TheCaponeMethod

You Sir are a true hero to us all. A real example of hope to those who have not relinquished their right to think.

  • Comment removed

  • @TheCaponeMethod I would of kicked her out. and then ran her over

  • @TheCaponeMethod Sorry, but stupidity of that magnitude is not possible.

  • @TheCaponeMethod hahaha thats fuckin champ

  • When the Beatles "played" this song on the David Frost Show in England, they used the single's backing track, but did live singing. Paul and George restored the "shoo be doo wah" backing vocal that was left off the single.

  • what's the pic at 0:24?

  • 0:49 but when you talk about destruction dont you know that you can count me out/IN,listent carefully

  • @MyDreamside well observed +1 If I remember, John wasn't sure about this sentence in the first version.

  • Where is the pic at 0:20-0:22 from?

  • @1967adayinthelife well thank you its always nice to have someone agreeing with you instead of everybody arguing with eachother all the time

  • 1:32 awww george and john buddies and pals

  • @XxBeatlesforeverxX ya probably....seems like a Paul thing to do... oh and tbh I really like your user name

  • 4 people don't know the definition of "revolution".

  • This is a good relaxer after hearing revolution 9 e.e

  • @ssaykcul yes I agree with you but I guess according to rockcherub1234467 or what ever there name is that makes us contrarians which im guessing by theur comment is a bad thig but i dont thunk so

  • @LovePeaceLennon22 To be a contrarian is to deliberately like the opposite of what everyone likes, not because you like it yourself, but just to piss off everyone else whom you supposedly think is below you for having a different opinion. In other words, a contrarian is a hipster.

  • The best ever!

  • Wow, I'm starting to like this more than the other one. This one seems more hypnotic and peaceful.

  • @LovegoodIsOurQueen ya i know i said that in my comment

  • I LOVE THE BEATLES!!!!!

  • John sang this version while he was lying in the floor..lol

  • I wish it was the 60's and not 2011 with all the pop crap. The Beatles are legendary thumbs up if you agree.

  • @retardrhinos34 That's not necessary to say. Whatever anyone thinks, the beatles ARE legendary. they started the pop movement. Lemmy and alice cooper were great fans, and most metal bands were initially alice and lemmy's fans. They were as important to rock and music in general as chuck berry was, and even if many people say they were gay and suck, what they hear probably has a lot to do with them.

  • @retardrhinos34 well, um...in the 60's these guys were considered pop >.<

  • @spazfall but it sounds wayyyyy better that the new gay pop stars that shave there head. haha

  • @audiescooter agreed

  • Comment removed

  • @retardrhinos34

Hypocrite, the Beatles WERE pop. They just did it correctly. Well......it wasn't the best part of the Beatles, but over the years they expanded their music to be mainly rock and prog. rock, with even some experimental elements (electronics) and we all know how that went, "Number 8 *Burp*"........anyways, the Beatles are good because they made a broad generalization of genres and made them look good.....even pop....which for the most part is one of the worst genres ever.

  • @aijunk2

Again, they made pop as in 'popular music', it's not the same as the pop from now, which is more a specific genre.

  • @JippiiX3

I guess you're kinda right. The thing is though, I've listened to both genres of "popular music" and they sound the same almost. The only difference is the trends.

  • @aijunk2 Pop wasn't bad when the Beatles were around. Pop got bad in the 90's. Pop songs like All my loving, day tripper were great pop songs! Even "Twist and Shout" that wasn't even by the Beatles were good. But the music that the Beatles produced that everybody or most like, is from the "Blue Album". Those are the legendary songs. However, like I said before, even the pop songs were amazing!

  • @AfroGangsta10 mm, I think there's always been bad pop, it just gets forgotten. I can think of quite a few really annoying 60s pop songs.

  • @retardrhinos34 the beatles were considered pop at the time

  • @DrumBumRyley

Yes, but back then it simply stood for 'popular music', now it's kinda evolved into the name for a more specific genre, you know, including Lady Gaga, Britney Spears etc.

  • @JippiiX3 yeah i have to agree with you there, the meaning has totally changed from back then

  • @DrumBumRyley I'm not saying that you're wrong there, Ryley, but they were considered pop-rock... They were only called that because the pop part of it is that the Beatles had catchy hooks in their songs, but they were really rock and roll, and everyone knows, they were always experts at it!

  • @AndreRad82 yeah i must agree! beatles were master songwriters!

  • @retardrhinos34 The beatles were pop...

  • @retardrhinos34 You should have more thumbs up. 187,729 people should be thumbing up, now.

  • @aidayc what about them?????

  • but the 1st definition of sexy is Paul :D @TheStoneSet

  • Paul was SUPER cute and attaractive and hot :D

  • 0:55 classic lennon moment.

  • I love this version, This is full of typical English irony.

  • @euticoca haha, i like your comment! why do you say that? :D

  • This reminds me LSD

  • @garriford8: Linkin Park and Greenday are not real music, or real rock 'n' roll. Good choices with Beatles, Nirvana, and U2 though.

  • @Tigerpuffer Linkin Park has 1 song that I don't change the channel on my radio for. Other than that Likin Park and Green day are total Bullcrap. I am proud to be one of the 3 people in my school that know that old music is good music.

  • @LovePeaceLennon22 me too

  • @VAB0L0 what is that supposed to mean???

  • Does Sony own the rights to the Beatles songs? Cause if they do, that's stupid.

  • I think this version is better than the single version.

    But they both rock

  • The calmer version is best. I like the "shoobie doo wowa" back up vocals in this particular version.

  • fuckin SONY MUSIC , SUCK MY DICK , FUCKIN SONY FUCKIN COPYRIGHT, can't see on facebook , go to hell SONY MUSIC FUCKERS , EAT MY ASS

  • @DIEGGOBLUESMAN what the fuck, kid? if you don't like it, don't watch it!

  • @shadowsnorlaxman32 I like the video, can't you read? or are you stupid? SONY FUCKIN' MUSIC don't let me put the video on facebook

  • @shadowsnorlaxman32 Sorry, when you type in all caps and bad grammar it's hard to read? And have you every heard of posting a link? Or are you to naive to know that? :P

  • @Berenueve yes i understand that and i do also like the other verson it is great aswell but this one just sounds better to me

  • I will never get tired of this.

  • this makes me think....damn....if only....

  • RFK was the lynchpin, we needed success after JFK, then more killing came. This set it off . Morrison wrote "when the true kings murderers are allowed to roam free, a thousand magicians will arise in the land".

Don't you know you can count me out - in...

resist as best as you can forever..they are spineless punks... resist without destruction...

  • listen he says but when you talk about distraction dont you know that you can count me out...in

  • Dear Mr. Gadaffi,

    please listen to these lyrics!

    Thank you.

  • Dun't worrey, Rongo, I carn't spel eyther.

  • 3 people carn't reed...

  • @MrFullofshirt Like I said, It should be illegal to hate the Beatles. Rev 9 is a great song.

  • @SanguineLupis

    Please tell that's sarcasm.

  • @MrFullofshirt

It wasn't them playing, it was just tape effects and stuff, thus it's not the Beatles. In some way...

  • THIS IS FUCKING MUSIC MY FRIENDS! Magnificent! What ever happened to soul in the lyrics of music.

  • I'm a bass player trying to cover this song. I love the tempo and singing higher notes of the bass on the bridge on this version so much. However, I really like the chorus bassline part on the original. I've decided to mesh them both together and the result is pretty awesome.

  • dude i love the beatles and my girlfirend fucking hates them,i showed i want hold ur hand didnt lik so im lik wat the fuck

  • @yo526100 Break up. I want to shake your hand.

  • @Zimnyification i know man

  • I CARN'T SPELL!!

  • @MusicFromTyler

Which is quite funny because most Youtubers don't know how to spell.

  • @MusicFromTyler I CARN'T SPEL*

  • this should be egypts and libya's national anthem

  • @Homesickblues1983 The whole point of this song is changing the world without violence. =] Libya has failed at that.

  • @SunnyLovetts So did America we starting bombing them during a cease fire

  • @SunnyLovetts

No, it's criticizing the actions of the Red Guard in China during the Cultural Revolution.

"But if you go carrying pictures of Chairman Mao

You ain't going to make it with anyone anyhow "

    That should be enough.

  • @zunevsipod1 no he's definitely right, it's preaching non-violence protesting to stop a violent government. China was just made an example out of in the song.

  • This is an Ol feel good song, who doesnt wanna start a Revolution!

  • "i carn't spel"

  • dont talk about Elvis him and the beatles paved the way for all rock

  • they couldnt hang with elvis drug addicts

  • @jcolossale21 hey Idiot ! Elvis Was A Drug addict himself

elvis didn;t want to hang out with the beatles, because of professional jealousy

  • @Freyja1133 actually he did hang out with them once and they all took drugs together.

  • @Freyja1133 they did hang out with him once, and they either all took drugs together or the beatles got high on the way because they were nervous and i think they might've jammed together. later though elvis did a cover of hey jude

  • I think John Lennon has a scary voice.

  • ..."in!"

  • I like this version of Revolution the best, I definitely agree that Revolution 9 is a really scary tune

  • @fsklrk well im pretty sure it means apple because he does an applejuice commercial where 2 japonese girls are saying ringo amd he turns around and there like no ringo and they point to the juice and yoko said on an interwiew something about apple co. and they got talking about his name

  • oh well im pretty sure it means apple because he does an applejuice commercial where 2 japonese girls are saying ringo amd he turns around and there like no ringo and they point to the juice and yoko said on an interwiew something about apple co. and they got talking about his name

  • @LovePeaceLennon22 Apple is the record label they created. The Apple co. Yoko mentions is probably referring to the Apple Co. Records.

  • We Need A Music Revolution!!!

  • revolution - ace

    revolution 1 - a bit too slow

revolution 9 - scary as fuck lol

  • @CFCRM23OASIS I like this one better its more laid back and the horns and shooby doo wop ohhh

  • @GrisGrisOnUrDoorStep fair enough dude, weve all got our preferences, just as long as were not listening to justin bieber lol

  • (skip to 3:24) I keep thinking that the CD is skipping when it really isn't. Danged mixing effects. Lol.

  • I <3 Ringo! I CARN'T SPEL.

  • t-bag Paul at 0:27 lol

  • i like this better than the revolution that is more famously known

  • @LovePeaceLennon22 I think I like the more famous one better, i like the guitar in it. but this one is fun.

  • @LovePeaceLennon22 me too.

  • @LovePeaceLennon22 it's understandable tha the other version is more famous, because as it is faster, it was more commercial

  • @LovePeaceLennon22

    HIIIPSSSSSSSSSTEEEERRRRRR!

  • @VAB0L0 Just because someone likes the lesser heard version better does NOT make them a hipster, it just means they actually have an opinion.

  • @LovegoodIsOurQueen I know, but saying "HIIIPSSSSSSTEEEERRRRR!" is a lot of fun. Besides, a real hipster would like it better because it is not as famously known, LovePeaceLennon22 just said that he/she likes the lesser known one better, probably for the fact that John sang it while lying down to make his voice less raspy or something of the sort.

  • @LovePeaceLennon22 The Bolsheviks?

  • @LovePeaceLennon22 pfft... contrarian much

  • @LovePeaceLennon22 Yeah, me too. Wasn't it Paul that said it needed to be a bit faster?

  • @LovePeaceLennon22 i agree completely

  • the picture at3:39 is ironic because ringo is eating an apple from australia but his name means apple in japonese

  • @LovePeaceLennon22 what? I thought it was ring. Because the film the ring was originally japanses and called ringo.

  • White Album... definitely the best of all time....

  • i carnt spel
