I think the right horse won HOTY but I have to say, I think Zen is the better horse, just that she was preped for only one big run in the BC which dosent really make a great case for HOTY which as its name says, is based on the full year. Rachel achieved a great deal and had a very tough season, peaking in the Haskell in my opinion. Maybe thats why its took her a few runs to get back to her best but make no mistake about it RA is a very good mare and will give Zenyatta the race of her life.
i just think that she should have because she won the Breeder's Cup Classic, and if u look at the HOY winners, a lot of them won the Classic. Im not saying that RA is bad i just think that zenyatta should have won :)
I always liked this horse.I'm not really someone who watches racing like you do but I always just really liked her.She's gorgeous and an amazing runner.She IS perfection in the horse racing world.lol I can't wait to see a foal from her! =D

I so agree with you about her being Horse of the Year! Rachel is a good horse but to me she is lacking something. Beautiful video!
