If you can watch the documentary "FUEL". I watched it the other night and today it is gone from the internet without a trace. It's about the history of the oil industry. What a joke...he uses the keyword "canellations" with the term "Prove" in front of it. Hotel, Motel, All need to fight for use of reciepts rather than allow BP to use the term "Prove Cancellations"/ Payment out for such damages should be based on the prior 7 year average for associated timeframe. Any less is a joke. Moreover, if I hear one more time about the BP directors visiting the region. They need to be made to live on the beaches and breath the air, drink the water, and eat the seafood.

They used toxic Corexit to atomize the oil in food producing waters of the Gulf of Mexico. That's the real tragedy. Corexit is nothing but deadly poison. The seafood industry both recreational, & commercial has been destroyed for decades to come.

@arf900 Oil is not the real danger here.. The Methane gas is the danger as it is highly toxic and extremely dangerous to humans. This is what has been killing the dolphins and other sea life. This is what needs to be addressed and immediately as you who live in the gulf states are in heavy peril if a hurricane or bad storm decides to carry this poisonous gas into the air. Have a gas mask on your person at all times as you only half half a minute before death can strike you down.

I honestly believe BP doesn't have the technology to fix this leak. As a matter of fact I don't think the world of science and engineering have the answers. This could be an oilocalypse. Listen fellow humans, our ego and greed and love of wickedness is quickly bringing our self destruction. We all need to learn humbleness and moral discernment again...This and coming world struggles may well teach us these virtues. BP is harming our wildlife. BP's "disaster plan" deliberately disregarded possible damage to native species and their habitats, listed a long-dead expert as a primary contact, totally overstated the company's ability and readiness to deal with such a catastrophe (they say they have a plan, when they actually don't), and purposely underestimated the extent of the carnage that could occur and is still occurring. he's a liar. how can bacteria eat up the oil when the dispersants they're using kill everything, including the bacteria? they can't. the dispersants are at least 4 times more toxic than the oil. we made claims during the exxon-valdez spill in '89 and they didn't pay for 21 years and instead of paying the 5 billion ordered by the courts, they paid 5 million. don't expect to see any of that money for a long time. there's no way to shut this well that's running at 100,000 psi!!! fk bp!

Since there is clear evidence that there was criminal negligence by BP and it's contractors that caused this disaster then WHY has there not been arrests and proscutions of those responsible including the executives and directors who encouraged these actions? Why has not the RICO statutes against organized crime been applied to these highly organized, highly criminal activities. This is NOT an isolated event. A Chemical Safety Board video shows that before the 2005 Texas City refinery explosion that killed 15 workers, BP had a POLICY of saving money by illegal safety practices which top managers knew were killing workers and would kill many more. Murder that occurs when committing a felony is Murder 2. These murders were *expected.* BP managers are racketeers.

If you can watch the documentary "FUEL". I watched it the other night and today it is gone from the internet without a trace. It's about the history of the oil industry. It opened my eyes to the "big" people and just how much control they have over the world and the lengths they have gone to through history to protect and increase their hold over us all. My eyes truly see after watching this film.
