I am all for either towers (Freedom Tower TT2) But think about this, rebuilding the towers is basically the retaliation against the terrorists BUT the true "F*CK YOU" to terrorists is getting people back in them. There are people out there who would be afraid to work back in those buildings again. I gotta admit, you rebuild the twin towers, and the construction process itself would've probably brought smiles to people's faces. to see construction workers put the pieces back together would probably heal the pain of the victims' families. We see two gigantic towers of human life, economics and etc... but we don't think about how much of a hell it was just to keep those towers standing. @TODB0AMER not at all, it was deemed under the contracts signed between the insurers that the two separate hijackings be classed as two separate terrorist attacks (which makes sense), and therefore some (not all) of the insurers involved had to pay double, which was perfectly legal under their agreed contracts, and not due to any specific clause or agreement

I think rebuilding the twin towers is childish; far from a living memorial to the dead, it would instead erase 9/11. Imagine a child growing up today; it's possible they might not know TTII and the original TT (in movies) are different until someone told them. Proponents of TTII want this; their outlook is "send a defiant message to terrorists." Of course I sympathize, but I prefer "we grow stronger and move forward while remembering the past." The reflecting pools & 1WT are beautiful tributes.
building freedom tower just doesn't cut it. It shows dead Osama in-the-bin Laden and his bumchums that they've won. I am not going to use profanity to say this. If they want, REBUILD THE FEAR TOWER, it's already late to turn that into the twin towers, it's also late for the 4WTC, & Silverstein has no funds for towers 2 and 3, even if they build the 1776 ft tower, and we build the wtc towers at 1509ft at its roof, plus a 360ft mast like the north tower used to have, the fear tower will look smaller. Plus, it would beat the willis tower in every way, roof height, pinnacle height, etc... rebuild the twin towers.

There are two reasons why it would be idiotic to rebuild the twin towers: 1. The Freedom Tower is by far the most beautiful and elegant twin towers, which were dated and anonymous, picture square in bad taste, full of concrete, the Freedom Tower responds to the canons of aesthetics, safety, sustainability above. 2. the most important reason is that the largest identical reconstruction of the twin towers, would be the biggest lack of respect for the dead in history.

2nd. The Twin Towers were by far much elegant and beautiful to see when they graced the NYC skyline for 29 years!

While it would be nice to rebuild the Twin Towers you have to remember the Port Authority is a small organization and rebuilding them would cost a lot of money(in the billions) that they cant afford to spend. And also it is hallowed ground now and deserves respect. Though if the PA had enough money and they could figure out a setup to make everyone happy it would be great to see them go up again.

I think rebuilding the twin towers is childish; far from a living memorial to the dead, it would instead erase 9/11. Imagine a child growing up today; it's possible they might not know TTII and the original TT (in movies) are different until someone told them. Proponents of TTII want this; their outlook is "send a defiant message to terrorists." Of course I sympathize, but I prefer "we grow stronger and move forward while remembering the past." The reflecting pools & 1WT are beautiful tributes.

If they want, REBUILD THE FEAR TOWER, it's already late to turn that into the twin towers, it's also late for the 4WTC, & Silverstein has no funds for towers 2 and 3, even if they build the 1776 ft tower, and we build the wtc towers at 1509ft at its roof, plus a 360ft mast like the north tower used to have, the fear tower will look smaller. Plus, it would beat the willis tower in every way, roof height, pinnacle height, etc... rebuild the twin towers.

@Freedomtower911 Well you know what!! Those 2 gray boxes were more than just buildings. The twin towers were icons and they were New York's belief in itself. The twin towers were very iconic and you don't seem to care or understand that. Don't come to me talking BullShit!! Get out of here with your stupidness!

@Freedomtower911 Then if the twin towers don't get rebuilt, I won't be visiting Lower Manhattan ever again. My dream of going to Lower Manhattan is over and I will never again step a foot back there again. Never again. The twin towers will continue to be in my heart no matter what.
