Yep, that's jump canceling, in which you jump off an enemy as soon as you connect with a mid-air attack, since jumping off an enemy is the same as hitting the ground and jumping off of it. Its tricky at first to be able to jump cancel like in this video, but that is what practice is for. If you're still confused, then there are tutorial videos of it on Youtube. Just search for Devil May Cry 3 Jump Canceling.

I could not believe what did you do until you feel like using trick is that you hit with energy swords and blood is low you one bit and also is in dante must die it should download pretty health but for all what hurts more good video of the tricks

@8element: Stay away from him and force him to do 2 slashes combo, 4 slashes combo, or 4 slashes-Helm Breaker, Stinger (Air hike JUST after he finishes Helm breaker), you can avoid all of this attacks just by running,except for stinger. Then stinger him with Rebellion and punch him with Beowulf. Guard only when he throws his sword, unless you're very skilled like the uploader. after you take 60% of his life, your misery is over; he's much easier to attack :) Hope this helps!

@8element More practice :) The general DMC tactic: DODGE all attacks, and SLASH when not dodging!

@natzkee2k8 There are two versions the one that follows you and the other which is kinda random. The random one is kinda hard to block, but the other isn't. Also he is going for SS so its not exactly smart. DMD SS needs no damage and if I were him I wouldn't block something like that when I didn't ABSOLUTELY need to.

No. Dante simply blocked every single attack from Vergil. It is possible in this game, as long as you are good enough.

it doesn't go down, because maybe you have more that 999999orbs. it happenned to me. i used ever item that i could use(vital s, devil s, holy w. old orbs...), and i when i bought everything in order to have every items again, i continued with 999999orbs

I think it's called jump canceling. Do a killer bee when your feet are near the target's head press the jump button.

Ah yes. Royal Guard, xp in my opion i would say that this style would be the best fighting style so you can block enimies attack and you can still hurt them by the counter thingy..x_X..lol forgot what it was called xp. Im not the master at this style cuz there are times my fingers ache..x.x..from guarding too much, i dont jump away from any of his attacks i block all of them espicially his spiral swords. :O.its a bitch though >>

No, you idiot. When you use perfect timing, you take zero damage, AND attacks that are normally unblockable CAN be blocked. You have to tap guard at the moment of impact. He is a super pro player.

Damn. I wish the mega Judgement Cut is a playable move. Might come in handy in the game. Nice use of RG. I use Trickster against Vergil 3. Too scared to switch to another style, especially RG lol.

easy. try timing the attack and ur guard aint broken. requires at last a few hours to practice since there is a chance of 80% you wil get fucking hit. and on dmd, you cant afford to get hit if you wanna SS the mission. So practice timing attacks of the enemy.
