  • she is pretty ugly, but she has a hot chicks voice!!!

  • I am so glad to find this. Ever since I saw Jennifer Warnes in Place des Arts Late 80's? she is one of my forever favourites. Blue Raincoat is classic.

  • I LOVE JENNIFER WARNES' SOULFUL SONGS ! THANKYOU FOR POSTING THIS !

  • I love this song and this album, "The Hunter" is one of my all-time favorites...

  • Always love to listen to this again and again and again...

  • Disagree on two comments- Firstly, you can compare anyone to Joni M,- but Jen's voice and music is SO unique in a different way than Joni's. Yes, love this cut- is a fav- but Pretending to Care brings me to my knees... Both are incredible songwriters and singers- have studied for decades- cannot compare. Joni is much more well-known, granted.

  • This is really a sweet romantic song!! =-)

  • suuuper cute *(^_^)*

  • No one, repeat no one, does it better than Jennifer Warnes.

In my humble opinion she remains unsurpassed.

  • Wow. I'm learning new music tonight.

I got linked to this from a Donald Fagen video and couldn't be more surpised or pleased.

  • This one is good. Long time since ive heard it.

  • Oh you b-beauty!!! I've been searching for an online version of this song from The Hunter for about 3 years. This, in my opinion, is the best of the numbers on that album. Thank you.

  • nice joanie mitchell impersonation .Joanie Mitchelle style singing, Joanie mitchelle style lyrics.I have loved Jennifer Warnes' songs since 1968 or so but it seems that until Leonard cohen and after, she has no musical address.(or a lusy agent and bad producer).

  • I can't see the point of your post. Both are totally different artists. Jennifer has a better voice, but Joni is a far better songwriter. "Hunter" is a pretty great album.

  • Listen to the music. First I heard it, I thought it was Joni Mitchell. No doubt about it, this is a good son; just seems like a tribute to JM in musical style.

  • Amazing.. I haven't heard this song for so long!! Couldn't find et anywhere.. Thanks a lot! She is great and this song just brings a big smile on my face!!! :)

  • Love this song, love the voice, thanks for sharing it :D

  • I can't imagine a more perfect voice! Awesome! This girl can sing!!!

  • jennifer warnes one of the finest voices of the past 30 years. never fail to be relaxed by her songs. if only she would release another album after the WELL.

  • Love this whole album, but I've lost it. Could you post Way Down Deep?

  • usin this fopr soundcheck

  • Crystalline melody, searing lyrics, soaring structure: one part Beatles, one part Richard Rodgers, one part Frank Loesser. And a moving, bare-it-all performance: she didn't leave anything in the recording studio on this one. If there is another up-tempo pop song so intimate, I hope I hear it someday.

  • This is one of Jennifers best songs. She´s got a very distictive voice and the quality of her songs is mostly always high.
