Apart from the references about taking heroin, which I don't agree with! - this is the greatest intro to a film there is, the social comments made by Renton are about as relevant and valid as they come.
also, using "Lust For Life" could not be any further away from Rentons priorities! haha
I love how the two extremes (not choosing life, and having a "lust" for it) come together in one great scene.
