the best film ever when you are strange however it never played on theatres in mexico city and i had to bought it on mixup damn i wish i could see it on theaters damn i hate this fuckin looser that prefer to send us shit like any hollywood movie instead this classic i think jim is the great singer of all time
As I recall this was Felt Forum 1970. I had taken some nice photos of the Doors before the show began & made copies for my classmates at the time. A decade later I came to California & a thief asked to borrow my pix & the negatives. My trusting nature wound up with the usual results. Little did I know this was to become a pattern of all those I would end up dealing with in Calif. A unique culture to say
Madison 69' was a great concert; I got the same bootleg as you, cause it sounds equally than mine. I specially love "Tell all the people" and "Touch Me" performances.
Does anyone know the setlist of this evening? Cause I have a doors concert which i thaught was 1971, they also perform The Soft Parade there. Unfortunatly its not complete, but my guess i have a part of this concert at MSG and not in 1971.
Have u seen it???????...here in england, it hasnt come to the cinema yet!!! is there any website or anyplace where we can stream it and watch it???... is it really new and good footage, or is just things we've seen on tv and videos???
Thats what I said, 69..Morrison Hotel was being made. Actually by this time he was bunt on the whole music industry, which contributed to the "Miami Meltdown". I think played they at the Felt Forum in NYC.
no it was january 24 1969,soft parade period and two months before the miami incident. This was probably their best concert ever and it's a shame it was not recorded profesionally
You know I like this recordings the most because it all sounds just as it was played with no mixing the sound later on,pure alive recording. You could feel the power of the Doors live stage sound and the powerful echo of the Jim's voice runing through the hall space..that's what I like the most.
This is incredible I wish I would have been there Surreal

Manzarek's fender bass always sounds SO dark and powerfull in live shows. I really like that stuff, cause The Doors were dark as shit.
Best band ever.

The Doors was for music what Nietzsche was for the Philosophy. The beginning, the intermezzo and the end.

I was there in the front row. I met Pam Courson. Had no idea she was Jim's girl until a few years later when I saw her picture with Jim

What kind of "god" dies on a shiter?
Snotra 2 years ago
he didn't, he was in the bathtub...
fearlessfrable26 2 years ago
the true ones, Jesus did, Mohammed did, but Jim preferred to do it in a bath, just to piss you off. Ignorant wanker.
