  • Why would ET's be interested in coming to Earth. A planet where people practice periodic, tribal warfare. They would be smart to stay away. It would be like going to an island full of spear chuckers spearing each other.

  • Time to record with a phone it all happen so fast but four ppl witnessed this and we know what we saw !!!!

  • My brother lives in fords on the top floor of a 3 story apartment complex by 287 I don't know wat it was but my friend spotted a round object glowing and going really fast like up high in the distance then all of a sudden it starts dropping like if it shut off falling goin side to side lookin like it was falling bout to crash then all of a sudden it just disappeared just like that in a second it we didnt hear any crash or boom or sirens it all happen really fast not even enough time to recor

  • looks like a meteor in all honesty :/

  • @JamesHigginsVibe - It might look like a meteor, but it sure didn't behave like one.

  • My wife and I saw 2 of these lights on April 14 in Point Pleasant Beach, NJ. First, one appeared, we said "look!" and another one, behind the first one, appeared. As soon as I told her to film them, both lights dimmed away. They appeared suddenly, just like Merecedez fluorescent headlights turn on. It couldn't have beenairplanes maneuvering and reflecting the sunlight, as there were no planes after the lights went away and we could see planes much much further than where the lights had been.

  • Hey look there is a light in the sky! It must be a UFO! NOT!!!!!!!!

  • @SKONJIE - It's not just "a light in the sky!" It turned completely around and flashed out of sight. How do you account for that? What do you think this is, more specifically?

  • @DrKenHildebrandt Not sure, however, with all the technology and gadgets of today, I think it would be very easy to do somethiing like that. Simple as using a spot light maybe. I do believe there is life elsewhere besides our planet. I just have seen any real proof. No clear pictures EVER, and no signs of clear pictures of aliens.

  • @SKONJIE - Yes, we'll I'm "not sure," either, that's why it's a UFO, by definition. A spotlight on what? A spotlight doesn't manuever around.

Never said this was an alien.

  • @DrKenHildebrandt True! Who knows really! Don't think its something from another planet though.

  • @SKONJIE - I don't know how we can pass judgment as to where it's from if we don't know what it is. It sure did seem to act intelligently. The moment I zoomed in on it, it did a sharp left bank, a circle, and then whisked out of sight in a flash. Never saw anything like it in my life.

  • @DrKenHildebrandt Who knows, there are a lot of unexplained occurrences. Like who built the pyramids? Although a bit of logic usually explains stuff like that. -but don't ask me what that might be in the case. LOL

  • Ok, first of all, your ass is hanging out, you're looking at Venus and it doesn't move until YOU do! LOL assholes

  • Preach it to the choir you faker!

  • @joshanator1 - Faker about what? You can't rationally counter one thing I've stated, so you call names. Name calling has no place in a rational debate, and is not taken seriously by anyone who's seriously trying to get to the bottom of what's being debated.

  • @joshanator1

I dont think this guy is faking anything... but I also cant confirm that what he's saying is actually what happened . At first glance, it looks exactly like Venus after the sunset (though to my knowledge, Venus is only that vibrant for one season out of every 2 years, give or take a few months). The fact that its gone at the end of the clip is the part that interests to me... but the "flip" looks exactly like a subtle hand movement when you're operating a camera with a 200x zoom

  • @MikeGleeson1 - Venus was behind my left shoulder as I walked toward the north (slightly east) by the way. The "flip" would've shown the ocean if it was done by me. I'll have to hunt down the camera, but I think it only zoomed to 10X. Sorry for being so late in responding, but I only saw this a moment ago.

  • Oh one more thing, if it IS a flip, why do you zoom in just before it happens, then zoom right back out after it happens? FAIL!

  • @joshanator1 - Why would it matter if I zoomed in or not? My brain was trying to process what I'd never seen before in life. I reacted as I did, and only zoomed out a little before it did that circle, and not fully until it was out of sight.

Whatever this was, it traveled south, banked a sharp left, did a circle, and then zoomed out of sight to the north, all within 10 seconds. Surely you can come up with something better than "Venus," which is never seen in the direction I was filming btw.

  • actually what i DID see was the camera doing a 360 or trying too anyway! LOL nice try though!

  • the direction in which the video was shot leads me to believe that it's nothing more the Venus!

  • @joshanator1 - So you think Venus does flips? Your explanation is ludicrous.

  • @DrKenHildebrandt

umm.... I never saw a "flip"! sorry!

  • And the captain turned off the light on his boat as the sun rose, and there was born a UFO in the head of yet another nutjob................

  • @hoopztube - So tell us Dave, what do you think this is? Compare the object to the flags on the beach, for height and size comparisons. What can maneuver like this? Can you not hear the wave crashing on the beach, yet not hear this object? What do you suppose it could be? After over 7 years (it was posted elsewhere before youtube), no one's had a reasonable explanation yet, other than being an unidentified flying object.

Name calling has no place in serious discussion.

  • I wish I had been there!

  • When and WHERE was this video taken? It looks more like a fighter in afterburner climbing. There are several military bases around the area.

  • @paulrosk - If it looks like an afterburner, where is the fighter jet? And, where is the noise? No fighter jet can make moves like that, and certainly no human being could withstand those G forces.

It was filmed in Mantoloking, NJ, on July 01, 2003.

  • Well your saying that it zoomed all around and did all kinds of backflips and stuff but that's not what the video shows.

  • @Ufohunter007 - That's not what I'm saying -- My wife alerted me as to what we both thought was an approaching helicopter flying just above the shoreline as they sometimes do.

When I focused on what I had thought was a headlight for a helicopter, without making any sound at all, it banked a sharp left, followed by one circular movement, after which it shot out of sight in a flash.

The light seen in the distance is at the end of an inlet jetty roughly 3 miles (5 kilometers) away.

  • Yea that shit didn't asend u just zoomed back in you moron!!!! Yea and it's a star that u zoomed in and out on. Unbelivable how people post this garbage.

  • @Ufohunter007 - Funny how this "star" was filmed at the same level as the flags on the beach, and funny how it turned on a dime and whisked out of sight, all without making a sound. Yeah, I zoomed in and then out after it was gone -- that much you got right.

  • @DrKenHildebrandt You don't have to explain to anyone they ether believe or not idiots will nvr believe you no matter how much explaining you do I'm not saying this is a alien driving flying saucer but it is a ufo cuz its a unidentified flying object

  • ball lightning.

  • @Darkcloudent - Ball lightning doesn't leisurely make its way down the coast, only to suddenly do an about face and whip out of sight in a flash.

  • interesting.

  • Pretty cool stuff you caught on video!

  • The zoom out gives it a special effect. - Nothing particular in my opinion.

  • What do think it was that turned 180 degrees in an instant and flew out of sight?

I zoomed out at the end to look for what had just vanished.

  • Wow! Very lucky catch, thanks for sharing,..

  • This was traveling along the shoreline, performed spectacular aerial acrobatics and then whisked out and up at an astonishing speed in a flash, all without noise.

    Wasn't a launching of anything.

  • @DrKenHildebrandt that's not what the video shows. All I can see is HEY NOTHING AT ALL WOW

  • @dustinfineout - No one yet has been able to explain what this was, including you. Your explanation is it's a blank film? After over 13,500 views, that's a first.

  • LOL

  • Very cool Ken, if disturbing, thanks!

  • Thanks, Mike. It was intriguing, that's for sure. Left me speechless, but shortly after it somersaulted and whipped out of site, I began to process what I'd seen, and luckily filmed!

  • I cant draw it here. I can draw it and email it you after I scan it. If you ever saw the British series UFO well take that UFO and flatten the top and bottom and the lights where red, yellow and green.

  • Sounds like a plan. Looking forward to seeing what you have. Haven't had television reception in years, so I'm not familiar with the show.

  • I saw a UFO at the end of a full moon eclipse in 1979 on Staten Island. My whole 6th grade class that I was in at the time all saw it too along with dozens of other people. With the moon full bright an octagon metal spinning object flew east to west banking south. It had red, yellow and green lights in the middle and spun with the craft. Next day in class we told our teacher and me being the class artist drew a picture of it. All the other students said THAT"S IT. I will never forget it.

  • I appreciate your sharing what happened. Interesting for sure. I never saw one until this one, when I was almost 43, then saw and filmed several over the next few years. Now it's been years since I've seen anything, but I keep looking, nearly always with a camera close by. Would love to see the picture you drew. I find this subject fascinating.

  • @JohnRusso007 Nice!!! (From New Brighton, : ) )

  • The video camera is important because some digital cameras have flaws in the software that either over compensate for light or under compensate. Also if it has auto focus. You have to be prepared for these types of questions and know you equipment.

  • I don't know about such things, to be honest. I apologize for misunderstanding. The camera no longer works, but was a Samsung Digital Camcorder, model number SCD80.

It did seem to have a pinkish tint to it when lighting was sub par, as it was when I filmed this. The object itself didn't have the tint, but rather the surroundings. Hope that helps.

  • I am stating that this person calling it a fake has no evidence that it is a fake yet continues implicate that it is. I seen a UFO up close and personal. As clear as day. I wish I had a camera. It was seen by over 50 people at the same time.

  • Sounds interesting. If you don't care to share your experience with the world, perhaps you can send me an e-mail, or you can post here. Either way.

I don't think the person meant to imply it was a fake, but rather that it would be difficult to fake. Anyone familiar with my videos would know that I don't possess those skills.

As far as an independent analysis of the video itself, it seems to be getting dirty after all these years, and might need a cleaning. Was filmed on July 01, 2003.

  • Polyphemus08x all of that without knowing the camera or the person who filmed it? Gee would it be fair to guess you are a skeptic?

  • This wasn't a helicopter, airplane, swamp gas, ball lightning, Venus or any of the other blanket excuses out there, so what do you suppose it was?

This object made no noise, turned completely around, spun in a circle and then whisked out of site. Have never seen anything like it in my life.

Why does it matter what kind of video camera it was, or who videod it?

  • Good video. If it is a fake, it's a damn fine fake. The autofocus presents a pain in the ass to anyone trying to fraud UFO videos, so it's a good indicator.

The color of the light isn't reflected from any external source. This object is self-luminous. UFO's, before accelerating, often become extremely bright. The briefing document for the Disclosure Project explains this phenomenon adequately.

If there is a next time, sit on your ass, brace the camera between your knees. Ghetto tripod.

  • I was steady as can be, it's what spun around, not me. There was no time to set up a tripod, and yes, there have been others.

    Many thanks.
