  • Yes, I have danced in the rain!

  • QUALITY!!!!!! :-)

  • This is a beautifully composed video with the photos and pictures you selected. Really adds an effect to the song which in itself is moving.

  • you said you wanted all comments good or bad, well....

    i don't like "thankies"

    everything else is amazing though

  • the image of Storm from the X- Men is the coolest!

  • There's anything more amazing than this melody...

  • WAIT WAIT WAIT I THOUGHT THIS SHOWED WHAT THE STORMS WERE LIKE IN AFRICA...NOT MUSIC SMH

  • Great song and great use of pictures!!! Could not resist myself from making this Featured video on my channel !!!!

  • i first heard this around 1993.. i was 20, and it just blew me away.. still does.

  • Sesshoumaru!! :O

  • Close your eyes and hear the voice of the rain when fall...

    100X100.000 Myphrister Feeling

  • Good music inspires good work 111Spongy111 ..nice job!

  • ansett australia

  • I love this song! We had it in our play!

  • this song was used in the 1995 trailer for "Bed of Roses" starring Christian Slater. What a Baldwin.

  • Amazing song, beautiful images, great feelings..

    Nice work my friend, thanks..

  • i love It :-))

  • @Bob123419 I was 16 when I did this man. That was a long time ago.

  • @111Spongy111 Okay sorry mate. Then it is nice. Sometimes I don't think before I speak. :)

  • @Bob123419 The slides are nice.

  • This is a great companion piece to Vangelis' "L'Enfant" (find it here on YouTube). They're even on the same key!

  • I wish someone with a good ear and talent would do a piano version of this

  • 1:54 0.o

  • What a masterpiece

  • Music is the only way to improve on the majesty of nature.

  • Enya "storms in africa" is like Kraftwerk "Autobahn"

  • This is the sound you will hear as your life ebbs away and your soul leaves your body you are met by Angels on your way to be met by God !

  • great work ,video does justice to a great song

  • cant get enough of this song!!! so calm and elemental and beautiful!!

  • I love this video! The timing was flawless!

  • When I hear this song, I picture an African tribe playing drums and dancing in a rainstorm with rays of sun shining through the clouds.

  • This is some beautiful and peaceful music! Does anyone know if there are any similar songs? My friend sent me this song along with some other Enya songs but none of them struck me as much as this one.

  • @rkm424 probably try her Greatest Hits "Paint the Sky with Stars" it features pretty much all her best work:)

  • The hauntingly beautiful sounds of Eithne Patricia Ní Bhraonáin (Enya) God bless the shores of Eire for producing such talent.

  • Brilliant :)

  • ooo coooool images...Great job!

  • Cool video.. I like the parts like at 33 and 1:24 where its raining a bit as well as the still shots that include some sort of water. The only thing I wasn't particularly fond of was the mix of nature and anime pics. I like them all but I think two separate videos of one with rainy anime and one with rainy nature would be nicer. I also really liked the sayings and such about rain. Anyways good job.

  • This video is one of millions with the anime pictures, one IN a million without them.

  • love the pic at 1.13, 1.16 and 1.32

  • love the song, , the pictures are good too.

  • SOUTHPARK INVADERS

  • Her sister Moya plays harp. Enya is a keyboards genius, able to do anything with a synthesizer. This opening sounds like rain, and mimics the sound of TWO steel guitars. One woman on a synthesizer.

  • Great job... love your art choices!

  • brilliant video!!

deserves a million views atleast :D

  • C O O L .....LOVE IT

  • one of my fave songs of Enya, there isnt a song that Enya does that I dont like.

  • it seems i'm not the only one who can relate with her music

  • na na .. na na. , im sure its sounds something like this , when angels sing and praise God.

  • I think there should have been more pics of Africa and less of rain. Idk, its up to you! n_n good job

  • Well, the song evokes a great impression of water running or rain than of africa ... but that's it with music, everybody feels something different =)

  • Love this song !

    Nice pics ;)

  • ENYA FOREVER

  • i love enya and her music

  • I can hardly wait to come back to Ireland and feel the rainshowers over me again...

  • i lovee this songg for some reason it makes me think of tarzan swinging through the trees or something

  • Good job! Images very befitting the song! Kudos!!!!!!!

  • what a sound.. deep so deep....

  • She is the most unique musician today.

  • Loreena McKennitt is just as good...

    But I love this song....

  • Never heard of Loreena, but I will check her out. Thanks.

  • @bohemianwriter1 Loreena is an angel

  • Excellent video

    I really love this song!!

  • I absolutely love this song, and pics are beautiful. I especially love from 1:36 to 1:41, the comment right there is so true.

  • Super fotos !!!!!!!!

  • She's the BEST and she'll always be!!!!

  • J'aime trop !!!!

  • beautiful like it so much

  • reminds me of home

  • Same. I'm a Zim kid, through and through.

  • Breathtakingly beautiful piece of music.

I can imagine african people dancing around the fire in their camp and doesn't care about rain.

I always like wathing when it's thundering and lightning outside. Every time it happens I go out from our house to enjoy it. This song makes me feel exactly the same. From this moment I will think of this music and Enya during the storm lasts.

  • I´m so happy someone can share exactly the same feelings I have listening to this song. From all of wonderful Enya´s work this is the best piece for me..I´d use the same words..breathtaking song, I romanticaly imagine african people dancing in the rain..not caring, I love thundering and lightening outside too..in this weather I always must force myself to stay home just watching as noone would understand my desire to go out and enjoy!..

  • j'adore la premiere image!

  • Enya the one and only!

  • she's the best

  • Absolutely Brilliant!!!!

  • Never thought I would make it, but I did make it to Beautiful Africa Enya!

  • Enya is an absolute artist: and these pix are well edited. I am in awe of this opening, it sounds like rain, and mimics TWO steel guitars. Just one very talented lady on a synthesizer.

  • Speechless.Finds voice.Awesomeness!!!!!

I love Enya's music because it always makes me feel good when i'm not feeling good, and it's the sort of music you can listen to any time of day.

  • Excellent job Spongy! Enya's music is awesome to listen to anytime of the day or night, great post!

  • Very nice selection of pictures! Congratulations!

    Very emotive!

  • Great job! nice mix of pictures and images.

  • enya's mosic portrays such graceful movements...more than any musician I can think of making music today. Her ability to connect to very gutteral emotions withouth the use of words is uncanny.

  • nice work

  • the first Enya album i bought was 'A Day Without Rain'

you can tell obviously by the title that it was made after Storms in Africa

  • i fell in love meny years ago. and it sounded and felt like this i forgot tell i seen you vidio. i want to thank you for helping me remember me one more time, i hope you get that part back.

  • good vid - good work

  • i lurve it lol

  • 'Watermark' was the first album I ever bought and this was always my favourite track to listen to - beautiful :o)

  • "watermark" is incredible and, for me and my CD collection, was a landmark purchase.

  • Best version of this song. The newer English version has all but buried this original and amazing version.

  • Magnificent. Love this song! I prefer the nature scenes, but that is just my preference. You do incredible work. Please keep up with your creativity. If you can lift someone's spirits out here with your work, as you have for me today, then you totally rock!

  • This is beautiful...very calming.

  • Thank you for these images to music.

  • What a beautiful video!!!

    Congratulations!!!

    God bless you

  • awesome bud!!! all the way to the end!!

  • Wonderful mix of styles here. I'm no fan of anime, but that's just me. Nice piece of work.

  • This version of the song is more beautiful and dreamy than the other one.

  • Very unique approach, i have no complaints

  • wonderful puctures!!!! great video, congratulations!!! ;)

  • After watching this for the umpteenth time, I just had to say that if I had to sum up this video in one word, I'd be torn between Hope, and of course...Enya :-)

  • firm song! enfermo rolla

  • Música Espetacular!!! Pura Magia!!! Linda voz!!! BRILHANTE!!!!!!!!!!

  • awe i like it, can u give us a link to download the song? cuz its really good

  • You don't give yourself enough credit. Pardon the language, but you did a damn fine job putting this together.

    Thank you :-)

  • Oh great god... this is so beautifull <3

  • Beautiful, i love this music :)

  • nice!

  • Great Job - Wonderful Interpretation

  • Don't worry, I'm the same way. :3 (Except when it comes to writing stories when you got a wave of inspiration :P) Bye the way, this was a wonderful vid!

  • Great video. I have to say my favorite Storms in Africa video is the one that is set to The Lion King (Search Storms in Africa and you can see it) but this is a really good one.

  • Thank you, that's really nice of you to say! I'm currently working on three more. (Yes I know three is alot, but people tell me I have ADD, cause I can't stay forcused on one thing for more than an hour :P)
