Alan Watts is not judging the more subtle form of christianity of those who really know and study it, he is talking about the form that is preached to average churchgoers. It doesn't seem to matter that he says this explicitly in the video; people just keep ignoring him and ranting in the comments about how he is misunderstanding christianity.

This is exactly what I've been saying for a while now, it was amazing to stumble across these videos. These revelations can be found all without knowledge of it, you don't need the biible to find this, but it helps. You don't need any religion to find all this, but knowing philosophy helps. I have always been like this, felt like this, since a little boy, and I've always been punished for it, by everyone, family, and people around me, but some have rewarded me with more knowledge, the rare few.

Very interesting. "Gospel means good news" - Jesus actually said: "Why do you call me good? There is only one good and that is your Father in heaven." The "good news" is not a religion at all. It is just like Zen.Lei Dan Ji Shi = hot cold experience yourself. In Jesus own words the good news is the Kingdom is close to you, or within you. To encounter Christ is an experience, not a propositional doctrine. Doctrinal Christianity is an overlay of experiential Christianity.

Prophets are enlightened people who tell the truth of their enviroment. Very few like the truth. Where was it I read faith is like Cancer at times, but you don't have to have it in order to understand its symptons? My mother would take me to church at least 3 times a week, and I lost my faith when I stopped beleiving that cartoons were real. Since then and becoming an athiest, my mother told me if I think about "everlasting life." I said no, just this life, and being a decent son and human.

How can Jesus claim to be perfect and never sinned when all Gurus and people like us have sinned? Jesus is God not a god. He is the great I AM that which he claims to be. @vesperus1981 i believe he inteprets many things wrongly.Judging a religion already misinterpreted is not right. from christianity point of view he was God incarnated. not a man who was deified.I am not sure about Krishna , but BG sais that every 1000yrs or when needeed GOd incarnates HIMSELF or his disciple  if Im not mistaking ,which is an already deified soul not a soul that achieved enlightement on that life.

I have studied comparative religion and the cults and the occult in relation to history. I research and investogate everything realizing that blind faith does not please God. Yes I'm in a position to know because I have a personal relationship with the Father, since I got born again with His Spirit, so He can lead and guide me into all truth.

The thing is that truth never changes. The Bible is the foundation of truth, so we can test the spirits whether they are from God or not. It is a more sure word of prophecy which is 100% accurate, and not open for any private interpretation, since the Bible always explains itself.

The thing is that you don't even need the New Testament, because it was all prophecized in the Tanakh. God, His presence, and His Spirit on man is all over Jewish Scripture. Jesus came to prioritize the Tanakh and to teach the way to the Kingdom of God. Jesus being the eternal God, God's Spirit on man, and the new covenant was all fulfilled Scripture. God does nothing without revealing His plan to His servants the prophets. The Tanakh was proven accurate through the dead sea scrolls. No excuse!
