  • what muffler is on this truck? does it have any cats or convertors? What is the diameter of the pipes thru the exhaust system? Also what kind and size is your exhaust tip? Your truck sounds AWSOME!!!! thanks, -101bq-

  • you were right i took it in and he changed up the heads and put a magna flow on it thanks man

  • @izsak111 post a video asap man, i wanna hear the beast, and no problem

  • what kind exhaust did you put on it i have a 1990 mazda b2200 she needs some work got any tips

  • @izsak111 to this day i dont actually know what the exhaust was called as i mearly went to the shop and asked for something nice deep and throaty sounding and the guy picked the perfect muffler.(if i still had the truck i'd go look for ya) but some tips with exhaust anyways, short and straight as possible with as little in the way possible for the best sound+preformance, but be carful, my old exhaust on my new truck was well.. you could hear me coming 8 minutes away lol. stick to proper mufflers

  • @izsak111 if you ever get a 6 or 8 motor or anything with two manifolds, true duel is ALWAYS the best way to go, TRUST me lol

  • Great looking truck i just bought an 88 its kinda done up, the previous owner lowered it and painted it matte black and a nice speaker system. how did you fix those rust spots there is a few small spots on mine and i wont them gone before they do damage and what is the song???

  • @beeftothetaco123 only way i know of to actually properly get rid of rust is to grind it away, so we grinded it all away as much of it possible without doing damage to the box, then fixed it up with fiber glass and then eventually finished it with a steal puddy molding that can be molded to the trucks original shaping as you shave off and even sand to get the shape back and then i think we fiber glassed it once more then sanded it down and then rhino liner as a finish.

  • how do you like the truck? i might get a 1992 b2200 for my first car.

  • @skillsaw94 i loved it as my first truck, simple and reliable and easy to work on too. worth the buy if its in good shape

  • you are only 85 hp on this pick-up!

  • @tasmanie28 point being? and after some of the mods i made it probably was closer to 100 =)

  • @gio848 I'm going straight outside and removing the decals and throwing on some grey paint , oh and I wont forget the shiny metal tip then maybe I will get 25 horses gain aswell =) (probably have about 15 hp atm ) =/

  • i need some help mazda fans i just bought my first mazda a 1990 mazda b2200 .. what years tail lights will fit on the 1990?

  • Damn dude, you made that little truck pretty sick. Nice repair jobs. It looks good, I'd be proud of it!

  • What kind of muffler did you put on it?

  • What's the first song called?

  • shoulda straightpiped from the cat back sounds alot better

  • that is nothing compared to my 1990 b the wheel wells are gone all except for the passenger side i will make a vid sometime but this one is really good shape for this trucks take advantage of that theirs a lot of shit you can do to these trucks

  • b22 truck back drums like the song by the way..........lol

  • my son is trying to change the back brakes on his little truck how does he get the stupid drum ect can you explain to me how p.m me lol

if he cant figure it out i will lol lol hes new to all this......he got really ill and didnt have much of a child hood now he growing out of it..(17) ..and there was never a man around......my fault.......so now if i can know how to i can go out there and direct him or let him read this llol im a mom lol

    thx guys...

  • My dad and I got a 1992 B2200 pickup on Sunday, 4 days ago. The bumpers are all screwed up, the engine wouldn't run, and the tail lights are out (we have the taillights though, we just have to install them). We got the engine running, got a new air filter, new battery, and a few other things. When we are done, I will upload a compilation of the steps we did, from the truck being how we bought it, to fixing it up, and all the way until we are done. Yea, it'll take 2 years, but it'll be done. :D

  • In my opinion I would take the plastic hub caps off and keep the decals on there...looks much better.

  • @pacman599 the hub caps are only on the winter tread so that way i dont have to pay to get the rubber taken off the rims seasonally and the decals looked so bad compared to the nice crisp look it had after, but that one i can deffinatly say is a personal prefrance thing...

  • @gio848 Ok, no worries

  • That's was awesome makes me wanna work on mine I love my Mazda !!!!

  • Hey man, nice rig, i got a 92 B2600i 4x4, love it, same deal im doing a pile of work to it, lots of body work right now, when you repaired the holes in your box did you just use some fiberglass screen like stuff?

  • i almost cried i love the Mazda and i love the b2200 just bought one yesterday and she is in worse shape than yours i will have a video up

  • hey mat i got a 1990 model b2200 tray back and just wondering when u put that exhaust in did u leave the baffler in or take it out and does it build up enough back pressure

  • Nice truck. I have 1 to it was in bad shape but i wanted 1 to work on and say i did that. Alot of people told me it was to much work and im nutz . Thay dont say that anymore;-}

good job on your truck keepit up. And fuck the haters....

  • ya its a bit of work of course but the stuff i did wasnt too bad at all, the longest part had to be the box first grinding out all the rust then fiberglass and all that other fun stuff, but otherwise not that much work, maybe an hour or so to take the decals off, exhaust only took the shop an hour, a little time on the hood but again not to bad at all, just take your time and love your truck and thats all it takes

  • Those aren't rims those are Hub-caps haha

  • and what is under hub-caps?

    thats right RIMS

    fucking moron

  • @gio848 yeah fake ass cheap spares fucking moron

  • Plus if you're showing the Hubcaps saying "Oh these are nice rims" that's you dumb shit.

  • no where in the video does it say "oh these are nice rims" it says "winter tires + Winter rims on" but thanks for proving your just a jelious punk who's father hates him and who's mother tells that he was a mistake every day =)

good luck living with the handicap of parents who wish there child never was, fucker

  • Nah Bitch, My Toyota would fuck your peice of shit ass Punk truck up anyday.

  • this was my first vehical you dim wit, of course its not going to be the most impressive thing in the world, good thing i got me a nice 4x4 now that would kick the shit out of your trashy toyota

but seriously, so glad to talk with you, i mean its always refreshing to talk to someone you know your better then and is only jelious and hated by everyone so they only show hate to everyone else in an act of trying to "cope" with life

dont worry buddy, the abuse will stop as soon as you grow up=)

  • @gio848 learn how to spell man, your truck is nice though, but a toyota would fuck that up

  • nice truck, my dad had one then he sold it becuase we got a ranger. he sold it to my dads friends and i am hoping i can buy it back, i loved that truck, good shape compaired to others ive seen still managing on the highway

  • I have an 89 too ,and would like to do the same for the exhaust. What muffler did you use? I assume its custom.

  • not custom, (like ya sorta but not really) i just went to the shop, said the tip i wanted showed them where i wanted it and then said make it sound loud and throaty and cut out the catalitic converter

  • Thanks for the prompt response! Right know I'm running an empty cat, just in case I get checked ...its there. I still want to do the side exhaust though . Its a nice touch.

    Cheers!

  • Nice Truck , I have one like this and i would like to remove the decals but i worried about that it might have sun fade. How did it come out ?

  • there was of course a sun fade and you can see it as underneath the decal is much nicer looking paint, but its not overly noticeable and gives the truck a amazing look so just go for it and take them off. that particular decal on that truck is more tacky then appealing so a slightly cleaner/brighter spot of paint on your truck is a definate improvement as apposed to tacky decal lol

  • its a very nice truck. painting the front and rear bumpers and the grille black really enhance the look though. you should look into it

  • BEAUTIFUL TRUCK

  • thank you, i'm truely am going to regret selling it in the near future (got a new truck, 96 dodge dakota sport 4x4 V6 MAGNUM - videos in the future)

  • take off the fucking hub caps they look stupid as fuck. it'll look sick without hubcaps and black steelies kinda look jdm!

  • the rims underneath those hubs are shit and keep in mind that those are my winter tires+rims, not exactly the show boaty season.

  • are they good for kmpg or mpg.?

  • very good, i got about 30 mpg pretty easily

  • i love my mazda i got a red 90 it's auto tho.....nice pick up tho

  • damn nice i got one too same thing 91 red standard, love it, gunna fix it up tho, ill post a video when im all done, keep in touch man and ull see

  • i just bought one, imma put a lift kit on it and some all terrain tires and fucking DGAF that shit

  • pretty nice lol i got a 84 b2000 that im driving now that my mustang broke down go figure that... but im doing a wee bit o' work to mine lol

  • what kinda of muffler is that i got a b2200 and i want myn to sound just like thaT!!!!

  • not totally sure, i just asked the guy for something deep loud and throaty

  • nice looking i got a 92 b2200, lowered with a spoiler and its sweet

  • lol. um u didnt put rims on it u put hubs on it.:P but if its your first ride you take wat u can get i guess. i got a 98 b2200 and im in the proses of "pimpin" my ride. i redid my interior today actually.

  • ya i know that, just was a typo in the movie

  • i've got a 93 B2200 (EFI with 93 hp vs. 85 from the carbed B2200). It's a darker silver/grey/gunmetal colour, and i've put on a Cherry Bomb glass pack muffler, custom made cold air intake from 2.5" exhaust pipe, 16" alloys with summer tires, chrome grille/window trim/tail lights, and a toyota tacoma front bumper.

These trucks last forever and are great on gas, cheap to insure, can be easily modified, and look good.

  • man keep the mazda bumper its looks cleaner and better

  • Them are some ugly decals I repainted my 91 and sanded them off lol. talk about plugging up your sand paper

  • thats why a simple 20 dollar rubber wheel drill bit works much better and doesnt force you to have to repaint etc etc..

  • How did you remove the decals? I wanna take off mine also.

  • simple little pin stripe remover thing

basicly a little rubber wheel i got at napa for like 10 bucks that you just stick in to any drill and just touch it to the decals you want to remove and it just peals them off without harming the paint underneath, just make sure you dont stay in one spot for too long as it is possible to damage the paint underneath if left there for to long (i did not find this a problem at all and didnt seem as if possible but it is just to let you know)

  • Cool, thanks

  • dude same year and looks exacly like myn when u first got it it looks identical myn is 89 to

  • yes, companys do tend to make more then one of the same vehicals

some sort of ploy to make more money?

  • aye sick truck dude. i got one myself. i like what you did with it

what song is that at the beginning?

  • colors by crossfade

  • thank you

  • very nice man. its a good looking truck. i have a 2006 b2300.

  • thanks dude, i do love it, i was going to do the hood up soon here, probably this week actually, but now a new problem has arrised that there is the horrible ticking sound quite often in the engine that i'm told could be a sticky lifter (or something like that) so its going to cost me like $200 dollars to fix which was basicly all the money i had buggetted for re-doing the hood

  • dude that sucks. i had the ticking sound a couple of occasions, but it went away. just out of curiosity, why did you put the exhaust pipe out before the back tire. it looks pretty legit, but just wondering. its a clean/smooth looking pipe

  • i just liked the look of it better, it looks amazingly bad ass on a small truck too

its not in the same shape anymore unfortunatly as i (stupidly) forgot to protect it during the winter by polishing it so now its got a few rust spots on it and such, but most of it can be taken out with just some steel wool and some polish (which i've already done and plan on doing again later to try and improve it more)

  • well cool man. ive got some of my own plans for my mazda

  • such as? and i hope you make a video like mine for it and let me know when its done so i can see it lol

  • It´s awesome. I got a b2200 1990 but Diesel. I will make a video so you can see how i got it. It has new paint and new Motor .The old motor was allready very bad it burned almost an oil liter per week, so i changed the motor, diesel, too, but comonrail with electric inyection and it is faster than before. i´ll show you soon.

  • look forward to it, i also got a few plans cosmetic wise for the truck lol

i'll make a new video later on when i do it

  • thats pretty sick.

hell, i just bought myself an '89 b2200 today. its got a blown engine and needs new exhaust though, i plan in working on that til i get my liscense. i thought my truck would sound bitch til i heard yours, it gives me hope.

  • lol glad i could give hope, once you get that engine fixed up and put a nice muffler on it (make sure you take out the cad as its what gets rid of most of the sound) it will sound fucking nice

you could also try just a glass pack in your truck instead of a muffler, that should be louder still (i was going to do this but then desided to try this first)

  • your post was awesome untill the attack of grammar

seeing as how you know what "flaming" is you should know by now that 99% of people on the internet REALLY DONT CARE about grammar online and will not even think about it while making posts etc etc

i sure know that i dont bother at all when it comes to grammar online, hell even spelling sometimes lol

  • I find it quite hypocritical of you criticizing someone's grammar when your's is not too great. You spelled quieter wrong. Also your last sentence didn't seem right. You should have said "learning the correct usage of English grammar" or something on that order.

  • Nice work on the truck. what kind of muffler do you have on it? I got a flowmaster super 40 on mine with duel out the rear.

  • thanks mate, not actually sure what kind of muffler it is, i just asked for something deep and throaty and thats what they gave me, i thought about gettin duellys but when talking to them about it they said their was a better chance of the sound just getting ruined on suck a small motor so no real point

  • I'm trying to do the same thing with my B3000 95' its a slow prosses but it's getting their and good job on that ben dude!!!!

  • on the ben? sorry not familar with that term lol

and thanks dude, make sure to take pictures and video of it eh and make a video yourself too and let me know when you got it done for sure
