@sunnysunshine223 people who knows about makeup does this. there are 2 reasons for this.. 1st she was going for a nude lip look and used it to make her lips look closer to her skin tone, so the lips are a nice nude color and the gloss goes on and looks real nice. 2nd is she wanted to erase the color from her lips. Some people with very pigmented lips like to do this so that their lipstick or lipgloss shows a truer color.

And of course we dont think that we will look like the Celeb. However certain celebs are knows to use certain makeup styles because it works on them well. We just use their make up style as an inspiration and translate that onto ourselfs so that it would compliment our own features. You obviously must be a guy..... ...or a girl who has a 'thing' against makeup.
