Nice vlog man, I think maybe he doesn't like the heat light that much which could be why he stays on the side of the tank. You could try putting the light so that it only heats half the enclosure. Also if the substrate is wet or damp than thats why he stays on the side as they like it to be dry and so he will stop spending all his time on the side once it dry's out in a week or two.
That Taruntula is awesome! I used to have one. And nice set up on the terrariums. Yeah be careful on those plastic tops, I have one that I have for my Anole set up. That plastic will melt right off if set on for a long period of time.
