I love it instrumentally but I don't like the singer too much. I'm not sure what it is about him. When he was singing gentle vocals he was fine but his heavy vocals are just not my cup of tea.(I know a lot of people probably don't agree with me though)
@nothinghappens1 Metal most certaintly did NOT take a rest in the 90's. Think about all the good extreme metal stuff that come out in the 90's. Maybe the thrash wasn't as strong, but the death/black metal scenes were superb
@HellsAngel05 But not all bands, there were a really awful Death/black metal bands on that period, but in general there were many masterpieces of that genre. Cheers!!!
@21Fixxxer Well my friend, yes and no; i say it because of that, let´s say, alternative wave of bands and the fact that many metal bands were losing their inspiration, or were doing some experimentation with their music and in most of the cases those experiments were not as good as they thought.
@nothinghappens1 you are right in the most of what u r saying.on the other hand 90s offered us some of the best bands mankind has ever known for example nevermore, pantera, dream theater, mastodon, solitude aeturnus and so much more famous or not.for me also 90s metal albums have the best production.

@21Fixxxer a lot of people view the '90's as the downfall of Metal.
Once great bands either changed styles or disbanded.
I enjoyed the '90's scene, a lot of great Death Metal.
