It was a layer of topsoil that was lifted off by gale force winds in rural NSW, from all the farms. The thin layer was EXTREMELY fine hence why the sky actually changed colour.

My family have taken basic pictures with a basic camera and they have come up just as orange as these. It all depends on the timing and the direction of the lack of light etc.

Sorry to disappoint you eggymoo but no "tweeking" has been done on this video. Apart from knowing how to add text and music I have no idea how to "tweek" or have the time to "tweek" footage. If you were in Sydney and crossing the harbour bridge at 6am you would have seen the same. I Just put the footage up to share what I saw with those who weren't as fortunate....... That's all!....
