No, it was SOUTH AFRICA that forced Smith to settle the war.

Why dont the remaining Rhodesians make a serious effort to reclaim their country. I would think you would find support from any number of countries. By this I mean a lack of intervention and a large number of possible recruits. With commodity prices at an all time high there should be no lack of underwriting available. There are plenty who would contribute financially and possibly militarily if there was a good possibility of success. I am curious to hear a Rhodesian response please

Interesting. I noted in the video that Rhodesia was put under "International Sanctions". Did I hear that right? I say it is interesting because this is the same thing the United States did to South Africa. Seems history repeated itself.

It was put under sanctions. And this got tighter once Portugal lost it's overseas terrirories. Even tighter when South Africa wasn't cooperating anymore. While the sanctions did hurt, especially poorer people, they were far from 100% efficient. What they did was increasing prices for certain goods.
