  • My BC does the same except its with dirt and while im gardening lol she catches it in her mouthes and spits back lol BC are awesome

  • Im so happy to have a border collie, theyre such characters!!!:D

  • collies are the best. I've had many dogs over the years and they're the best dogs ever. they're so funny and clever.

  • lol pause at 0:11 it looks like he's standing on his front legs

  • Thats the same that our dog does ^^

    They'r sooo cute, aren't they?

  • Haha. And I thought it was just our BC. Anyone else's BC have what we like to call "puppy zoomies", Where they run around the house like crazy, for no reason?

  • our old border collie Chip used to play in the snow like that, but the young one just sits there and start's crying so we have to stop and give her a hug.

  • my BC does the same thing but tries to herd the shovel as you throw the snow

  • lol i wanna see what my BC does when I shovel snow

  • oh wow if only thats what my border collie did to the shovel that would be great...however he rather bite the end, stopping you from being able to actually shovel away the snow and makes you dump it back onto the drive :p

  • what a happy border collie!

  • hahahaha that's exactly what my border collie does <3 =3

  • *grin* Could be mine, too! Connor is always going crazy when I go out and get the shovel...

  • Mine eats the snow and then pisses in the house

  • my border collie tries to catch the rocks and dirt that is shoveled up when we dig holes. he a silly silly boy.

  • Mine does that except she does attack the shovel as well not just the snow.

  • Very cute! It makes the winter more fun for you too, I'm sure!

  • Bet it would do that for hours!

  • THIS IS TOOO MUCH! I wonder if my BC would do the same thing. Considering I live in FL, looks like I'd need to introduce her to the concept of snow first!!!

  • My bc does this too! She loves snowballs too. The best is her face when you toss her a snowball and she smashes it then doesn't understand where it went.

High maintenance dogs but they are wonderful.

  • My border loves to bark at the snow on the ground and snap at it, anything makes for a good play date with these dogs.

  • I have a BC and he is about 6 monthes old.

I suggest BC for any pet owner who is looking to find a gental dog who WILL get rowdy if you play with them

  • your BC is adorable!!!

  • The border collie are very spécial dog... they are all the same... love water, love snow, love run. love moove.. ouf!

    very funny video!

  • LoL all border collies are like that. I have a blue merle border collie and they have to stay busy or they always find some trouble to get into xD. They are a handful...but i wouldn't trade her for the world :D. She also like chasing her tail, squirrels, leaves, water, snow, and untied shoe laces xD. Anything that moves...she's always right behind it xD.

  • I have a Border Collie mix and she does the same thing. I don't know what the facination is with shoveling snow. Just be careful not to hit the dog with the actual shovel. It's hilarious when they actually catch a shovel full of snow in mid air. There are snowmen and now snowdogs.

  • Cute dog! I own a Rough Coat Collie....we really enjoy her. She likes to "herd" me when I wear my fuzzy pink slippers. Collies are the best!

  • Dixie (My BC) dose the same thing, and she also likes to slide down the hill on her bum or her side lol (But its hard to catch her doing that because she turns around and checks before doing that, its so funny watching her slide!)

  • This video made me laugh. I just adopted a border collie and can't wait until she can do this to our shoveled snow.

  • You're going to love having a BC in your life. I just looked at your video - Maizee's beautiful! And she really seems to be catching on to the discs - good work!

We have 2 BCs. The one in the photo, Seymour, is pure BC - all ball drive, and a poster frisbee dog, oddly mot much of a herder. Our other, Rue, came to us from a great BC rescue 2 years ago. Now, we can't remember life before the both of them.

    Enjoy!!
