Looks like they took a 5series and shrunk it to 70%...

Don't like it. I like the old one better... But that seems to be something I always say when a new 3series comes out. Maybe I should wait till they release the coupe version. The 4 door is always uglier...

Head lights are similar to audi new looks and rear is identical with 5 series, the designers from bmw are out of ideas. This design is plain ... doesn't create any feelings. I still love my e46, Bangle did a great job with his designs you were shocked when bmw created a design back then, you either loved it or haited it or even hait it and then love it and that was intense as a bmw should be.

@7d7n this car is meant to sell, which undoubtedly, it will sell. the point it to make it as non polarizing as possible. and to be honest the outgoing model wasn't exactly meant to evoke emotion either. i say this is an upgrade in my opinion. i disagree with the e46 comment. that car wouldn't exactly turn heads..imo. and bmw was trying to unify the lineup by incorporating design elements from the other cars. thats why it looks similar to other cars in the lineup. btw its spelled "hate".

@amathew711 thanks for the correction and i agree this car is struggling not to be polarizing and it really succeeds very well on that. What I am trying to say is that bmw should not be just another car with a badge, you have to admit that the designer just didn't do to much on this design .... the 3 series deserved more than just 5 series copy (except front lights which are weird and brings me the new audi look which is far better) i mean something original ..i don't like this incorporation lol

Some features look great some aren`t. I think that new 1 serious is horrible, and new 5th and 6th are the best looking BMW for years. This one is a 1-5 crosover =intresting, but not a masterpiece.
