You are the man Sutt. This is a track i got on an old tape from Rave FM 99.3 in late 90. Uncle 22 and Clarkee were regulars on there. I knew this was a remix of KLF from the tone of the beeps in tune with the original track but after months of endless searching my search is over. Chalked this 1 off the list. About another 20 to find :) Cheers mate. You're a star of youtube.
The BEST version of their classic track. Helpful hint: DO NOT crank the bass right up unless you enjoy replacing speakers. As a wise man once said: "It's 'ad a remix - watch yer bass bins, I'm tellin' ya!"
I bought this on 12" when What Time is Love was released. My mate bought the radio edit and I bought this version. Thought i was being clever 'cos i invested in the remix.
But when i got it home, i thought it was crap.
Only now, nearly 20 years on, can i appreciate this timeless masterpiece.
A fantastic tune from a band that took a piece of the world of dance music with them when they split.
god i love the way this song changes direction towards the end..thanks for posting this. ive been searching on and off with no luck for more than 10 years for this one. i remembered it from when i was a kid on one of my brothers records..could never find out which song or mix it was till now. now to get it onto mp3,another ball ache..
From what you're describing it could be any number of KLF tracks. My guesses would be either the original mix of What Time is Love, which was on the Lp Warehouse Raves 4 or the Moody Boys "Mu-D Vari-speed" version of "Last Train To Trancentral". Both absolute classics, both remind me of a flying saucer landing at a party and the occupants getting off their nuts on all manner of things.
@achtpriorideaI972 kenetic pleasure done a classic with them words in it ''higher'' also think mayday was a tune aswell with that in it but cant think of klf choon with it :/ anyway 2yr later i replyd so u mite ave got it by now lol
Does anybody remember or know of a KLF track which quite possibly was a drumless instrumental track. I can't remember the exact details of the tune (as I was completely out to space on LSD at the time). Except to say that I was blown away with 303 breakdown in it which was outrageous. The vibe it leaves is of a flying saucer landing at the party where it was played. Totally mind blowing is this KLF track, no drum lines just futuristic, spacey, wobbling acid madness.

From the description, I would say more likely the original 'Pure Trance' version of "What Time Is Love?"

I've got that on CD single and it doesn't sound like this.

I wonder how many of the thousands of djs who bought this 12 flipped it and bugged on this jewel of a track. Moody Boys vs KLF? Impeccable.
