Damn doesnt really sound that loud in the car. I am about to get my Blouch 440XT on my 11 Sedan with the 44mm EWG. How much louder is it in the car when it opens? And how are you liking the your setup?
@XFoolXProofX I really like the setup. The 44mm EWG has a deeper tone than the 38mm ones, so I think it seems "quieter". It is definitely loud, but not terrible with the windows up. With the windows down and/or under a bridge/tunnel it is very loud.
@xluben Nice, only issues I am having is I want to keep the EUL headers and there is only a couple options for UEL. Thing is the UEL have 3 bolt flange for the uppipe but only one makes an uppipe with a 44mm EWG...its been a pain in the ass lol. The company that makes them is back ordered so all I am waiting for is that part. Cant wait. Have you had any problems with the internals or the transmission?
@Gratz1333 Huh? The new WRX's are faster to 60 than the STi. And you can take the cash you saved over the STi and make a WRX do work. Both max out on power for their stock transmission and engine internals. WRX about 400hp crank and STi 450 crank. WRX is better money spent imo and you ge tbetter gas mileage =D
@XFoolXProofX i think the STI is a better platform for this but i have a wrx so i gotta try my best with what i have. Prob just run a 20g with meth or something. You need money for this kinda project.

@XFoolXProofX I am still on the stock headers. The GrimmSpeed EWG uppipe works great. So far, the motor and transmission are doing OK.
