im pretty sure keygen is a virus that implants itself into vegas trial and then gives you the full which it then deletes itself giving you the full version

see the screen 2:31 and learn that keygen is just a short from key generator. it only generates the key for free which you should buy from manufacturers and thats all.

there also exists "patches". Patch is the executable file binary code correction for the file not to ask you for activation and not be trial.

so the keygen do not modify the executable and patch do that only once

both keygen and patch can contain viruses so you must keep your antivirus always on while playing with such things.
