oh, and little trams like toby are often geared, so that whilst not as fast as normal similar sized trains like percy, they have alot more pulling power, a bit like low gear on a car. So it's possible for him to pull such a heavy train
the Rev didn't like the fact that the trees were so close. Fire regulations mean they should be set further back so that sparks from the chimenies don't set them alight. Also I guess so that falling ones can't block the line
I like this episode, but Rev W Awdry considered it flawed. He said it was rediculois to have a forest in the middle of a railway, but Britt Alcroft pointed out there were a lot of railways like that. Awdry also pointed out that it should have been illegal for Henry to stop without informing the gaurd.
@ItsMeWario2 Many railways do run through forested areas, but really, stopping an engine in the middle of the mainline without informing anyone is a good way to cause a nasty collision. Imagine if Gordon had run through with the express at 1:30!
Hated this one as a kid. :/

This episode will make you feel sad at times because of what happened but luckily it turns out alright in the end.

Who says steam locomotives aren't environmentally friendly? Clearly they've never met Henry.

I'm suprised toby could pull that train. He's not very strong and the trees must have been heavy

@ItsMeWario2 I don't see why he wouldn't like this episode. It's lovely!
I suppose it's because he throught it was unrealistic but in stories anything can happen.
