Follow what Luther's translation (the only one that was not politically motivated - remember he had to translate in "exile" as he was under threats of being an "untermensch" by the authorities - similar to what ELCA is currently following. They would have made great followers of the evil in WW2. Actually they do double speak - they apologized to the "victims" and the writings of Luther (contrary to what they now claim). He translated the bible - for the people - without political influence.
Judge not lest ye be judged - Yes - But following the commands - that is wheere we MUST be. Note the number (66.6) "The best" - Satan has taken his place as "ruler" in the earthly kingdom before the return of Christ. He himself has stated (not all that silently) He is near and signs are all around. The church (at least the mainstream social reactionary) is not where the spirit reigns. Do ye not see that we are going against the word of G-d? Human interpretation of the word is dangerous.
The truth is... listen to what this guy says at 1:46-1:49, "Let the Lord judge the people." I think, this preacher is playing GOD. He needs to be very careful because judging others is none of his business, but GOD ownself. ELCA did and will always make decision from it's grassroot. The vote to include openly gay and lesbian into ELCA roster taken by a vote with exactly 66.66%. I believe church has spoken. Alleluia.
YOU GO MAN!!!
sincerely, someone who was raised Episcopalian and can't stand how apostate it is.

@InfoMeister21 Do you concede Luther may have had his own politics? Are those in exile devoid of their own political agendas?
