  • You are one funny mother fucker LOL. Great Vid bro!

  • Thankyou so much for these vids, I watched them months back and now I have my bike got a yamaha ybr 125 yesterday and am taking my CBT next saturday I can't wait! these videos and deffinetly helped me and are the best videos that I have found here on youtube! 5 stars!! *****

  • I don't understand how neutral is between 1st and 2nd? How do you get into it, and how do you not accidentally go into it between 1st and 2nd when you take off? Seems weird lol, I haven't ridden bikes at all yet. I figured it would be below 1st.

  • @dilligaf1942 I know it all seems confusing but what his part1 video you only go into neutral when you are at a standstill about to depart from the bike NOT at the lights this will let you be able to let go of the clutch without the bike moving its simple kick all the way down to 1st then kick the gear lever half way up then you'll see the green light come on and when you said about taking off you dont wanna be in netural when moving and its very hard to get into neutral when the bikes in motion

  • How do you know when to switch gears?

  • i have a question mr.blinkycab... what rpm are you normally suppose to change gears at??

  • 15 days, 200 less cc :D

  • thanks for the video

  • good teacher. thanks!

  • The effect of the gloves and jacket become useless when you have slip on shoes and shorts on

  • Gears are easy, buying the motorcycle, not so easy.

  • @MRSketch09 Seriously great tutorial though.

  • "There's just weirdos everywhere!", says the guy riding around a parking lot in circles and talking to himself ;)

  • Question..what happens if u let the clutch out too fast when ur changing a gear?

  • @antoniopspfranklyn if you let it out too fast in first gear you will end up in a wheelie and you dont want to end up in a wheelie you have no control over trust me lol

  • @antoniopspfranklyn If you let the clutch out to quickly you will stall (stop) the bike. Don't worry about wheeling on a 250, It is pretty hard since a 250 doesn't have that much power, you'll have to be pretty skilled with clutch control, but still be prepared if you managed to pull a wheelie be sure you have your rear brake prepared.

  • ur on the wrong side of the road

  • @thebrandomn718961 not where hes from

  • @thebrandomn718961 heres in australia

  • I'm 14 and I really want to start riding a bike :( great vids btw

  • Thanks Blinky, greaet vids.

  • i have a question! do u need to kick the gear down , if u r going slower from fast? cuz for car we don't need to change the lower gear to go slower from fast. u know what i mean?

  • @WhatsGucciMaHomie You can, but it's harder, you need to feather the clutch and not release it as quick as you would in 1st gear.

  • Thumbs up if you wished he'd have showed us his girlfriend ;p

  • "Sitting in your bedroom or in your office, you can do it with me!" Sesame Street Style ;)

  • motorbike has a sequential gearbox :)

  • u are really amazingly helpfull thank you sincearly

  • You explain this really good thanks

  • Thanks you crazy Australian bastard

  • Shame your camera isn't pointed down just that littttttle bit more! But still. Amazing!

  • Did you say the Rev Meter starts to LUL?! lol

  • going from first to second, how do you not go into neutral? So when you actually want to get into neutral, how do you?

Should you be in neutral at lights or in first gear?

  • @corvetteracer916 You just normally Clutch in,Kick up, Clutch out from 1st to 2nd but it will sometimes go to neutral, and just hold the clutch all the way in at lights and if you start going for any reason just pull the front brake a little bit.

  • @corvetteracer916 Neutral is like 1.5 on a number line. And you're trying to get between 1 and 2. You'll figure it out within a few tries on a bike. And for lights. It is best that you are in first just gear in case of an emergency that needs you to move. Its easier to just let the clutch out and move out of the way than remembering to shift, then go. But the only reason to be in neutral at a stop light is if you have to itch/adjust something don't want to stall. Hope this helped:)

  • thumbs up if you like to FUCK

  • its reli good when people lyk you take time of to do theese video's and help new riders out i have just recently got a motorbike and this has been helpfull i never road since i was young so thank you verry mutch :)

  • aight im checking it all, like ur vids, but a question,

if ur driving in 6th and there's a red light, u release the throttle, clutch in and do 6 times (to first gear) push the left pedal down right?

  • @convicetNL Hold clutch, release throttle, and keep pressing down repeatedly until it doesn't go down anymore. This applies for all gears, there's no real purpose to keep track of what gear you're in

  • @coloricanking thanks for the good reaction.

    bless u man.

  • this is very nice teacher of how to ride bike.....u should have to open traning school for all bike lovers..

  • near the end i was waiting for you to go fucking mental & light up that sleepy suburb like ghost rider

  • its helps alot to also put pressure on the gear lever just before you intend of shifting, allows a faster, smoother shift :)

  • lmao i cracked up so hard when you said that your area is full of weirdos, but ur the one with a camera taped to your head :D lol no offence tho mate

  • very professional

  • nice shoes 1:23

  • thank u i was ridin my dads owns and now i can ride it better thnx

  • Thumbs up if you actually pretended you were on a bike and did the same as him :p

  • Thank you ,very informative ,just learning to ride a bike after 40 yrs driving a car ,wish I had learned to ride a bike in my younger days but guess your never to old to learn, cheers.

  • Just got my L's and a new Honda CB400!

  • Is that a good learner bike ?

  • @deemaster1000 The 'best' learner bike :)

  • thanks i wanna learn how to ride this soon

  • My confusion isif ur going up a hill and ur in a higher gear, why do u shiftdown? Thats wat blinky did pending if i u derstood correctly..but my logic would be to shift up or to remain in that higher gear wen going up a hill...anybody plz help!

  • @PolishCutie93 Low Gear = High Power, Low Speed... High Gear = Low Power, High Speed...

Meaning If you want to go uphill, you need more power not speed. It is almost the same as when you first start the bike and want to get going, if you were to start off in 6th gear you will Stall Regardless If you already find the biting point on your Clutch. Hope You Understand:)

  • Is it the same on a aprilla rs 50

  • thanks alot man.

  • Guy: So um.....yeah!

    Me: wait what?

  • just a quick thing for everyone, if you know all the parts of a motorcycle, and have an idea of what to do, it should take 10-15 min to learn. I know how to drive a manual car, and it was a piece of cake (thanks to blinky's vid)

  • Great video , for real!, and leave the weirdos alone !D: xD

  • dude i hate weirdos

  • Great video. Now i have an idea how to ride thanks!!

  • Great video..You're good at teaching..:)

  • Who else got their hands and feet ready to shift with him, then got mad when the girlfriend interrupted lol

  • Say your slowing down for a turn and u need to down shift . Do you have to reapply the throttle when you let out the clutch after you clicked down a gear? Or can you just let out the clutch smoothly or will it stall?

  • Comment removed

  • Dude i love your videos keep up the good work :D

  • judging from the views everyone watched you're video and just drove off

  • Amm wen im Clushing do i need to low the speed? Is it like ,, Low speed Clash kick up sofly let go clash and speed? P.S. Speed - accelerator.

  • @nepalauzemas hope i am interpereting this right, you accelerate, then you let off the gas pull the clutch, and kick up. 1-n-2-3-4-5-6. then if you want to shift down from a high gear, you pull front/rear brake, to slow the rev's down, (but not so low you stall/ lugg the engine) and then you clutch and kick down.

  • This helps alot, cuz i wonna know how to ride a bike cuz im planing geting one and i never ride one..

  • what gear do you ride in in the high way

  • should i get a motorcycle or a bike, i live in norway and it can get quite cold up here. Bikes look so much cooler but a car would be more practiacal

  • if you want to Kick up or down more than 1 gear do u have to Let the clutch out everytime?

  • @Josh94zz no

  • @Josh94zz No, you can switch up or down multiple gears with the clutch in - Just need to let the shifter return to the "center" position and kick up/down again for another gear before clutching out

  • @Josh94zz ahh sweet thanks :)

  • @Josh94zz no man just hold the clutch and go downshfitting 1 or 2 or 3 gears , as u like

  • @6ayooor sweet thanks :)

  • here in the uk everyone learns to drive manual transmission (shift/stick), will riding a bike feel more natural in a mechanical sense? will it take just as long to adapt to riding a bike as someone who has only ever driven an automatic car? thanks for any help!

  • u must be in europe

  • @pyramidhead138 mate he has an aussie accent...

  • how much do u have to let off the gas when you switch gears?

  • @crakinskulls4321 You close the throttle so your not giving any 'gas' at all. when changing gears and make sure you pukk in the clutch then slowly let the clutch out whilst giving it more gas.

  • @mappy456 Pull the clutch*

  • Hi, I subscribed to you :) I am 16 in one year now, I can't wait until i get my first bike. Thanks a lot for the vid. I learned a lot. :)

  • you are the best at explaining this... thank you!

  • Nice shoes ^^

  • Nice one blinky! Videos are well good.

  • im sure all of us want to know the most important thing in this video.... why are they weirdos? hahaha

  • Wait, so can we just hold in the clutch while downshifting multiple gears or do we have to pull in and release the clutch after shifting each gear?

  • @paulchoi1993 Just hold the clutch while downshifting multiple.

    example:We're on 6th gear,

    hold clutch>downshift(5)>downshift(4)>downshift(3)>downshift(2)>downshift(1)>release the clutch.

  • @CHUD5Y Thanks for the reply; been curious since I don't have my bike yet

  • Is there a pt3?

  • Thanks mate! You've just reassured me be about gearing lol I'm 17 in 2 weeks and getting a YBR 125 an was just a bit unsure about clutch control :)

  • i got my ninja 150..

    dude..it so powerful..

  • i love your voice

  • nice pink shoes xD

  • lol im going to be 16 in a year and i want a motorcycle so bad i saw this video yesterday and sat on my bike in my garage for like an hour pretending the back brake was the clutch and moving the pedel up and down like gears

  • So badly wanna get my A license, and start off with a ninja250.

The only downside is living on the west coast of Norway, and having 7 mountains around my city meaning lots of rain. Still think I'm gonna go for it though.

    Wish me luck

  • Is it ever too late to start riding motorcycles? I'm already 25

  • @LuvThyMetal It's never too late dude! you could do your CBT and hop on a 125cc bike, or do your test and hope on a 33bhp limited bike for 2 years, a ninja 250r is like 32bhp so you can hop straight on that, or get a 600 limited down to 33bhp, 33bhp will get you around 120mph :P hope this helped! i'm currently on a 50cc hitting 50mph, after xmas will attempt my test!

  • @TheSimpleTask Thanks man. I am thinking of getting the Ninja 250 but I'm not really sure yet. I need to learn how to ride first =|

  • Visor down makes you sound more manly ;)

  • btw which helmets and gloves do you use

  • cool video. i'm 16 and i learned how to ride a motorcycle and gonna buy a kawasaki 250r for first ride :)

  • @MsSkip60 yh thats what im gonna do when i turn 16, 3 months and 2 years to go o.O

  • @ryo97 in my country the age which is required to get a a2 license is 17. :(

  • thanks for these videos is nice where you recorded it .. thanks once again!

  • im only gonna be 16 in almost a year from now and i have still watched this vid very seriously, has anyone else been like me?

  • @ofekishay I'm 16 in about a year and 3 months :P

  • @ofekishay yh im 13 nearlly 14 xD

  • @ofekishay i've learned how to actualy ride a bike by watching this vids ;D

  • @ofekishay I did!...i just turned fifteen last week and im already watching this...

  • @ofekishay i am :) getting a monkey bike soon :)

  • @ofekishay Me 2 , i had today my 1st lesson!

  • @ofekishay I think there should just be a maturity test + common sense test that allows you to ride a 50cc if you pass (And CBT ofc)

  • @ofekishay I already know all this, but I am still watching all of this very seriously incase I have missed some crucial information hehe.

  • @ofekishay Dude, im 12 and i'm watching this like every day. Im planning on getting a bike for my 13th birthday in febryary :)

  • @MrRafffly Too bad you can't ride it for a few more years.

  • @ExiN1nja I'm sorry for the misunderstanding, i meant a dirtbike :)

  • @ofekishay yup in nov im turning 15 ive had some time with dirtbikes and i love to ride just cant wait till im legal

  • liked, Favorited and subbed

  • Do you apply throttle as you release clutch? or apply throttle after you fully release clutch?

  • @xxgg

As you release the clutch. But not when training

  • @xxgg In his exercises to learn the clutch grab point you don't give it throttle, but in normal operation you release the clutch while you give it throttle. The amount of throttle will determine how the bike starts, whether it is a gradual start or a launch.

  • Can we see your girlfriend? I think we're all wondering...

  • you kick the shifter up just once to get from 1st to 2nd? or do you have to kick the shifter up twice to get through neutral to 2nd?

  • @edub47 kick it once gos from 1 to 2 straight away

  • brother, whats the minimum speed when i'm on 1st or 2 nd gear when i'm not hitting the clutch?

  • Eh blinky just gotta say your video are nice and accurate went to an msf course and I should of just gone straight to the DMV... Although I started like a week ago I started with a Honda CBR 600RR but 250 are not bad either thanks a lot I pretty much knew everything at the class and all thanks to you! Later and thanks

  • Awesome video man. I own a 5 speed mustang and am finally ready for a bike. Whats a particular safe bike for a newcomer?

  • @SourChipz yes u can

  • I know youve critiqued your own videos ive watched both parts and I have to say they have been by far the most help ive found yet -- nicely done.

  • @SourChipz you can hold it, but you need the acceleration from the other gears.. your bike would most likely stall if you went from first to fifth.

  • What will happen when you release the clutch too fast after shifting?

  • @Nitrostinkt nothing aslong as the rpms ar still up a far bit

  • This video was made a day before my 16th birthday. but your videos are great ive been looking alot at the ninja's 250R. i love the style and how many good ratings they get. And from watching alot of your videos i wouldnt regret having one. Keep up all the good stuff.

  • Do you have to pull in the clutch when you switch from, say, 2nd to 3rd? can you still switch without using clutch?

  • @JakeBeoulve no

  • THERE WAS NO in this vid 9:22 =( good guide, deftnly gonna help me or make me prepared before i start on biker school.

  • Good man !!! cheers

  • when we use motorcycles we can ride on the left side?

  • @TheParramatic I sure hope this is a sarcastic question, but I would feel bad if it wasn't and no one told you and then you crashed and died in a head on collision on the wrong side of the road. If you're in the US, you had better stay on the right side of the road. I'm assuming this is in Europe, because there the road directions are switched and you drive on the left.

  • @TheParramatic Just kidding, it's Australia. But the same rules apply there as well.

  • been watching your vids for a while now, and just signed up to get my motorcycle liscense. gonna be fun when i get to training and already know how to ride a bike, this is a great vid!

  • so questions, you can go to a complete stop without shifting down to first gear beforehand?

  • and oh btw..am i too short for the bike? im 5 foot 6 inches? how tall you gota be to ride the 250 cc ninja?

  • @traidanang you should be fine cuz ive seen post of ppl that are like 6'2+ complaining about it feeling too small for them

  • thx blinky after watching your video i've learned alot..

im a starter really newbie hehehe

i will start out my first bike a 250 ninja too..

  • Do you have to kick up twice to shift from 1st to 2nd or just once?

  • @sjonessonejs just once. but do it hard.

  • @sjonessonejs you do a half kick up for neutral position. for 2nd gear, you fully kick it.

  • How do you know what gear your in, say if u have a brain freeze lol

  • the whole left side driving thing is fucking with my head!

  • Shorts and Vans with a sport bike.. Hell yeah!

  • In Soviet Russia, Bike rides you!

  • Thanks

  • Nice vid and good detailed, im 13 yrs old just trying to learn how to ride a bike so i can get a little early experience on the clutch and the shifting gears so when im older i could take the course and get my licence.... thanks

  • HUGE HELP thank man

  • Your driving on the wrong side of the road...

  • @gaeta34 in britain (london area) thats where there suppose to drive.

  • very good videos and very helpful

  • compaired to my dirtbike you barely have to pull the clutch.

  • Great video.. very detailed..

  • good instruction

  • Its a 3-day course. The first day is a 4 hour classroom. The 2nd day is the bike riding training, and the 3rd is the road test. When you pass, MSF will give you a waiver, so you don't have to take the road test with Dept. of Motor Vehicle. You'll have a motorcycle license in just 3 days.

  • Good job on your video. I'll be attending the MSF course this Monday to obtain my motorcycle license. Wish me luck.

  • @Chopper41463 gl man how long are the courses is it like a few days like a car course?
