  • the chickens are NOT dyed you IDIOT !!!!!

  • lemmi gess the babies gana be purple

  • there not dyed there injected a safe dye into theyre embrios and are not harmed the they hatch with colour

  • what some people do is they dye the chicks so they look cute and sell them but when they mature the people who bought them go "why did i want this again?"

  • silkies are traditionally white, sooooo yeaaaaa......anyone got a white chicken and some koolaid?

  • how cute

  • They are naturally white idiot

  • z pisanek?

  • Chicken salad sounds good right now

  • Wow, some of you people just spew out misinformation. I know someone personally that had Dyed their silkie pet pink. They used food coloring. I would never do it to my chickens, but I never said anything negative about it, because it is something that will go away within 3-4 weeks.

  • animals from china? dubitable.

  • ....dyed.....xD

  • Guys, dyed chickens lose their colours to natural growth about 2-3 weeks in, these chickens are about 10-15 weeks old... probably photoshopped then.

  • False information is false.

  • u people r so freaking stupid.... they "might" be dyed.... but they can also be genetically injected with atificial coloring with in the hen and/or eggs.... its also called cloning.... they've done it with horses and sheep :/

  • @LadyJinxStar Wow such ignorance.

  • @LadyJinxStar which is also why they don't open this to the public there is nothing wrong with this the chicks were not harmed and what person wouldn't want to be a different skin color i think it would be cool

  • poxa!!! que maldade com as galinhas!!!! pintar elas com spray rosa e roxo!!!!QUE MALDADE!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • mute the vid n put on the chocobo song on another youtube tab. and enjoy

  • ANGRY BIRDS.

  • Of course they're from china... lol

  • yes they are dyed, silkies come in several colors, but not blue and pink

  • genetic modifications people... if you dont realize that then your parents shouldve genetically modified you.

  • IT AIN'T SILKY CHICKENS ITS SILKIE

  • mom? wheres the strawberry and blueberry kool-aid?

  • Yes these are silkies. I raise silky chickens myself. They DO come in many colors, but not purple and pink. These were obviously feather dyed. There are chicks sold at Easter that are either feather-dyed or had the eggs injected with dye but as soon as the adult feathers come in (within weeks) they become normal-colored. I don't agree with dyeing in the egg, or even selling chicks as Easter pets to people who do not actually want adult chickens. Silkies are nice, they make good mother hens.

  • YOU INGECTED THEM WITH COLOURS YOU BASTARD!!! THAT CRUELTY TO THEM!!!!

  • hey, my cotton candy is alive!!!!!

  • these chicks have been dyed with food coloring or manic panic. this is NOT natural> Silkies are either white or grey> These were NOT died in embryo chicks. Those lose their coloring when their juvi feathers come in. these have been dipped in dye then dried. It actually is pretty harmless, but to say they are natural is wrong.

  • haha,i have a baby silkie chick i hatched :)

  • O_O

  • This is soo sad!!! These beautiful chicks are injected with dye. It shortens their lifespan, you can look it up, @booskie32, how can you be sure?

  • silkies aren't naturally this color. I have two, they are grey and white. No chicken can be that color without dye

  • That is so cruel, how would you like it if someone put different colored dye on you when you were a baby? By the way I know what you done they were not born like that. IDIOTS!

  • @haider22749 it dose not hurt them in any way and people do this to there kids/babys ALL the time.

  • @booskie132 Well if they do then they need to go to the psychiatric unit

  • that is chicken cruelty dying them as chicks even no there cute you should not buy dyed chickens. and its wrong that their in a zoo while artificially colored every thing in the zoo that is living should be all natural.

  • @catie236534 I agree with people not buying dyed chicks, because most people buy them because of the color and are not prepared to own chickens. Most people use food coloring and inject it into the embryo. It is completely harmless to the chicks, so they say, and usually fades after their first molting. However, I'm don't agree with dying them. things should be kept natural >.>

  • Worthless little pieces of shit. Won't even make a good McNuggit

  • @bangumbigass u fuckin bitch

if u were a chicken what would u think?

chickens are EXACTLY like humans! we are all animals so dont even try to say that!

  • @snugljo Thats like saying a pigeon is exactly like a monkey. Or that that flamingo is like a cow.

  • I wanna Hug them they look so fluffy! :D

  • lol.... they ARE dyed. XD It's using a safe food coloring, probably, but there's no chicken on earth that will develop those colors naturally. You've been had, I'm afraid.

  • Those are dyed Silkies. The OP needs to educate themselves about Silkies before they post more misinformation.

  • lol... ive raised silkies for like 5 years now... and i dont remember EVER seein ones other than black, white, blue/grey, gold or brown/red... so hmmm...

  • they are dyed... i worked at a farm and ranch store for 3 years. silkies are not purple and pink... they dye them while theyre still in the egg by inserting a needle thru the shell... you can tell these are dyed because their beaks are tinted too.

  • SILKIE Chickens are black or white, these guys are in fact dyed.

  • Should never put M&Ms in the chicken feed. /facepalm

  • LAWZ THE PINK ONE HAS AN AFRO.

  • Those are Dyed, but there ARE more than black and white. There is a blue (more of a grey than blue, really) Buff, partridge, splash, etc. No Pinks or Electric blues though.

  • Very cute

  • Somehow looks yummy o_o

  • can they die like that?

  • liar, silky chickens are either white or grey!! You Dyer!!!

  • I hav a silkie and the only colors are black and white.....your so gullible

  • @zingleberry1 acutally, silkies can come in a blueish gray color, and brownish colors, but nothing neon and bright like that

  • Whoever filmed this video is very gullible NO chicken comes in these colors naturally. Yes, they are dyed.

  • If they were dyed I hope it was safe because if it wasn't they could have really gotten hurt. Be careful!

  • @ethanewhite12 They dye silkies for our state fair every year. The ones there are dyed with kool-aid powder. It is completely harmless and comes off as soon as they get wet or even from running around in the grass.

  • I would eat them

  • You dye the eggs and the hatch the color of the eggs, it doesnt stay like that forever it fades and the chicks moult losing their dye job.

  • Um.. thats purple ! get your eyes checked

  • rosa e roxo minhas duas cores preferidaaaaass

  • no worry peeps all natrual hair dye.....i think

  • oh i had black silkies :)

they were the uglyest mofos but i thot they were so cutee!

my friend who lived near me called me out of nowhere & was like "i member you saying you got some chickens with fur & i have a dog with a beak in my yard so i think your chickens ran away to my house"

it was hilarious trying to catch them :D

  • You tool, silkie chickens aren't purple and pink. They're obviously dyed

  • Why does my cotton candy taste like chicken... oh wait.

  • I had a white silky chicken once - SO CUTE!!!

  • Comment removed

  • These are Silkies and are a variety of white, black, buff, red, partridge and splash colors only

  • Comment removed

  • @elicub16 -No,I think anything Rebecca Black puts on YouTube has this video beat when it comes to dislikes...

  • this person is a liar. they are dyed.

  • i never knew that cotton candy could walk around!! what an invention...

  • Chocobo theme song would have fit nice for this vid :)

  • Hey cool, Now I can accesorize when we go for our walk lol.

  • they are obviously dyed. you know, not all silkies are funky colors. in fact, the most common color is white! but there is also red, buff, black, blue, partridge, silver partridge, splash, self blue, lavander, and even different shades of barred!

  • What do you mean they're not dyed? Silky chickens are white...

  • Is the music Rosa Munde?

  • They dye them like poodles. There is no naturlly pink chicken.

  • they are dyed you can really tell. how would a chicken get that colour in the first place??????

  • lol youll probobly get some nice easter eggs

  • @D8Alpha LMAO!

  • Do you think it lays pink and puple eggs? :-)

  • the song is nice and incredible!

  • they died their feathers

  • OK GUYS!!! There is something called chick paint which lasts on chickens and turns them different colours until they grow out their down. They are not tortured, and definately npt real

  • @42JohnnySmith You can hatch the chicks in colors too. It's odd, but cool. If they were hatched pink and blue, then it is real.

  • @Wolfgirl2help Agreed. :) My friends did it that way.

  • @Wolfgirl2help nope

  • @TheHAYLEI What do you mean nope?

  • fucking awesome

  • 68% of people here are not fooled.

  • bad

  • Hey, this cotton candy tastes like chicken........... Oh!

  • @Rabbishlover lol

  • blonde mistake....blonde mistake....i have silkies and yep they defffintitely come in that color. yep for sure. thats just so natural. definitely

  • @catdelks ur the silly person, if it was dyed as a chick, all the fethers wold have fallen out bye now

  • Comment removed

  • Silly Silly people. You dye them and they are born with the colored feathers O:

Or I'm wrong and I'm the silly silly person O:

  • silky chickens as well as other chickens don't come in these colours. They come in natural colours like white, gray and brown.I'm 11 and even I know that. How can the person who made this video not?---must be a blonde...

  • They put the dye into the embryo or just dye them for show. My mum died our silkies puff on it's head, it was soooo cute. Our silkies kept getting sick though (not from the dye, it was the place we were buying the chickens from) so we didn't get to put stripes on it like we were going to :/

  • if i was a silkie, id wanna be purple lol not illegal by the way they were selling them at the NY state fair today

  • Yes, these are dyed. Silkies do not come in pink and purple. But, the dye, I believe, doesn't harm them. Yes it is inhumane and unnatural, and must not be done, but these people aren't stopping to listen, so, well, we can't really do much. But, yes we can, not buy the colored chickies and so, make the people stop dying them..

  • How much do they cost

  • i saw this on land of the lost once

  • its so mean to dye chickens

  • wtf :D:D

  • they look like cotton candy.

  • @darkmagicrid1 Om Nom Nom... Why does this taste like chicken?

  • they are dyed there not this color naturally

  • there cute

  • silkies are not naturally that color

  • @chinieboy101 took the words right out of my mouth. they are absolutely dyed.

  • @ people saying this is illegal, its not illegal or animal abuse...all they did to color them was put food coloring on their feathers no harm done

  • someones been hittin the ffvii chocobo sidequest...

  • LOL thats not even blue its PURPLE XD

  • lol fuckin weird stuff to do... illegal

  • How do you dye animals? o_O

  • @LorenStevens food coloring

  • THEIR SO FLUFFY IM GONNA DIE.. lol

  • hey, it's cojiro!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • this is illegal and they are dyed i have silkies and they are dyed they are not these colors naturaly

  • this is illegal

  • @chinieboy101 how is it illegal..they color baby chicks like that all the time

  • @Kaneane Oh so just because people break the law often, stuff becomes legal? or what do you mean stupid?

  • @octoxd its not illegal in the first place, it dose'nt even hurt the chicken...their color BEFORE their even hatched. when they hatch their colored, all tho i have no idea how they colored the ones in the video. cause the chicks lose the color when they lose their baby feathers

  • @Kaneane Okay, im sorry for my attitude, just makes me crazy when i see stuff like this. It suprisses me how bored humans can be..how can someone think that they have the right to use living creatures as "toys"?

  • @octoxd its ok ^^ and idky they have to us them as toys...oh and i made a tiny mistake b4 their colored with food coloring after their hatch but it still does'nt hurt them it just colors their feathers and when they lose their baby feather the color goes with the feathers(the ppl on the video probaly colored them after the chicks losed ther baby feathers)

  • @octoxd There are plenty of animal abuse problems in the world by putting food dye on a pet chicken isn't part of it.

Its cute and their is certainly no harm done.

  • Comment removed

  • @ViolentKisses87 Even if no harm is done, it is still wrong and unnatural.

  • @octoxd i'm sorry but (it would be from china they have the most bizarre things)

no offence in any way shape or form

  • @ViolentKisses87 Ok I guess your opinion is valid but aren't they're better things to worry about than a "victim" in a victimless crime?

I just don't see the point when their are better things to be upset about in the world and if you want to stay in the realm of chickens baby chicks and the beak melting/clipping machines, factory farm conditions, and transport by illegal immigrants who wont speak out about what they see for fear of what will happen to them or their families.

  • @Kaneane it is

  • Cojiro! :D

  • lol I raise silkies and their usually white let me just say they're the dumbest thing on earth if you put a tennis ball near a broody hen it will try to hatch it

  • Let me just add silkies feathers are a lot finer that's why there soft like a cat and that's why it's easy to die them different colours as u would with a poodle but try it with a breed of chickens that has feathers and you will get probs with mites

  • I have silkies I breed them but trust me these silkies have been washed in food colouring I these silkies would of been White I can tell because of there sickle feathers

  • @tailow2 yes

  • zomg they look like cotton candy!

  • THEY PAINT THEM LOLS! -.-

  • @californialinchen try this 'how they color chicks in india'

    search it okay....

  • yeah and I have a rainbow cat

  • They aren't dyed in the way you think of hair dye. They can be dyed in the egg however. I have seen documentaries. Of course, people get all bent out of shape if you do anything like this to an animal. They seem perfectly happy as blue and pink chickens as they would be brown.

  • And I'm sure those chickens REALLY appreciate being died blue and pink. Cruel bastards....

  • @rosy48842 Hey, not everyone is raised like a corn bread eating southern hill billy and knows all your special chicken breeds you insisted on naming. relax.

  • @rosy48842 i also breed chickens and yes you can get chickens to be pink but it would take a log time lots of inbreeding and they will not reach that age of adulthood but i managed to get the bald gene

  • Why would people do that to such beautiful birds?

  • @SpavVy1993 They do it to keep clutches separate, originally, but people saw a market for it. It's no big deal. they molt out of it.

  • @terriergal i don't think they injected the egg O.o cuz they way too bigger to not at least hav their first moult. i think they used natural food dye and rubbed it all over them lol :))

  • i dont think thats possable to have blue and pink sillkeys that wer not dyed im not an expert with chickens but i know a lot if im wrong well sorry

  • poor animals

  • @californialinchen They aren't and never did suffer. The egg was injected with a nontoxic dye. It helps when trying to keep clutches separate. But people also do it as a novelty. It grows out.

  • i want a Blue silki

  • COTTON CANDY!

  • @rosy48842 She said she DID believe they were, why dont u check ur reading,

  • either its fake or they used dye

  • Hand made in china

  • NO NOT AT ALL it is not real ha ha ha !!!!!

  • silky chickens are not blue and pink sorry to tell ya/

  • SERIOUSLY! Don't chickens go through enough? Was this a failed attempt at pumping growth hormones into the chickens at the factory farm?

Factory Worker: Uh, sir, look at these two.

    Boss: Christ!

Factory Worker: Should I... dispose of them? *cracks knuckes*

    Boss: Wait... call the carnival.

    **************

LACK-OF-HUMOR DISCLAIMER: JAY KAY people.... jay kay. Sheesh.

  • boring....

  • ehhem.... These are both shades of cotton candy *cough*

  • 1st i tought they were cottom candy :O

  • Well technically there is a true lavender out there, but that's as far from brown as reality gets at this point.

  • everyone this is a process in which the chickens are dyed INSIDE the egg. the stay that color and a perfectly fine and heatkhy. most chickens dont even feel different.thumbs up so people can see this

  • @memory123100 Actually when chicks are dyed inside the egg, the color only remains for a couple weeks. The adult plumage grows out as their natural biological color. The silkies in this video are white and were probably dyed with food coloring right before the event
