mojaves btypically are 5-10x more, depending on sex, pedigree,breeder reputation and of course, the markings/colors of each particulae snake. I have dealt with 4 pretty big dealers, 2 are perhaps the biggest,most well known in The Snake Keeper and VPI-VIDA PRECIOSA.I can get a male mojave for $350- 450,f $400-550, but the 2 breeders i mentioned probably are a bit more, vpi probably wants a grand but they sell only the finest hand-picked from their shop-the rest go to other breeders or r kept

Mojaves are nice but it sucks to get more normals than leucys when the chances of getting them are the same lol.

the chances are not the same. the chances of mojaves to lessers are about the same,both co-dominate, but Chances of getting a leucy are slim.ALL the right genes&chromosomes have to be present and fall into place, correctly,much more likely to get the lessers&mojaves. but yes, he couldve reasonbly hoped for 2out of 8. maybe nextime, good luck Hank, if u dont mind me calling you that

Actually you're wrong on this one. When you cross a lesser with a mojave, each egg has a 25% chance to give you a normal, mojave, lesser, or leucy. So the chances are the same, at least according to the punnett square.

all i am saying is he is more likely to get the normals and cd's than the leucy. proof was in the pudding. 1 out of 8. punnet squares are a probability chart, more like a possibility chart, it is not scientific fact-its a gauge. so yes,the square says its probable for 25%, but it also does not allow for natural anomolies. the first albino ever in the wild didnt come from an albino parent, did it? it just happened, and then that snake seeded the genetic lines
