  • I find it hard to watch this guy for extended periods of time for two reasons, one he has no emotion and is very boring and two he is really hard to understand with his low voice and heavy accent.

  • @lyons7486

    1) Why would you need emotion when learning colour theory? Go watch a clown instead, let the rest of us learn something.

    2) If that is seriously a heavy accent to you that is hard to understand, then I recommend you never leave your locality. You'll find the rest of the world a confusing, 'heavily accented' place.

  • some light brown would have made you mix more like the leaf colour I think

  • wth is this ?

  • lol.. "uh.. man... u look alot like elf flesh today.. huh"

  • I think he was saying out loud what all of us have thought, "glad you painted your models they look....painted' He understands that not every one can take 5hrs per model but it pains him to see bad like listening to someone practice violin, they can get better but right now it makes you wince.

  • Love the topic and glad you are putting this up for us to view and learn. On the other hand, you come across as very pompous and quite rude. There is a way to share this knowledge with everyone and not say how bad their painting is. Maybe you should get out more too, I don't think every Orc out there is bright green. GW paints theirs bright green so many copy them.

  • @TheK9monkey

I find it amusing how Romain is rather obviously trying to be as kind as possible when saying that some people need to practice their painting, and still someone manages to say he's being 'very' pompous and 'quite' rude.

  • @SigurdHeathen the guy who said he was rude, was probably his crappy orks that Romain was on about... lol

  • @SigurdHeathen its his french comin through lol

  • @SigurdHeathen Those who speak English as a second language often come off that way when they discuss serious subjects, because they speak the language properly; Brits, Yanks and Aussies, unless "well educated", tend to speak in slangs or local sub-dialects, and see speaking English properly as being stuck-up or posh. If you try imagining the words Romain speaks in a "refined" south of England accent you'll see what I mean :)

  • am glad these vids are up mainly because it will help with my GCSE art and general painting.

  • I havnt started watching this series yet but I am glad that someone is doing color theory, I have tried studying it on my own and I feel like it would be much to learn this way than self study

  • this guy knows whats up.

  • Awesome!

  • Great vid

  • 18 minutes later, I'm not sure what I really got out of that... are the next parts a bit more involved?

  • I can't belive someone has disliked this Whats not to like about this it's informative & interesting.

Is it me or do these divs just hit the dislike button like the same divs that have to say first when they leave a comment.

  • @SonOfSanguinius77 dislike for exposing their secrets

  • @purgeandcleanse Theres No secret about it you can find any of this out in a book in a library

  • @SonOfSanguinius77 It's because some people are assholes who are literally incapable of appreciating anything.

  • What? Get out of the house!!! HERESY!!!! The outside world can kill! It is not a nice place! :P

Really useful tutorial:) Thanks for that

  • His voice is very calming..

  • @whtstang99 His voice makes me want to not only get out of the house but become one with nature ^^. It's very hypnotic.

  • You can see it pains him to say, "thats all right, you can do that if you want." When He's talking about bad painting.

  • Great video, really nice ideas.

  • Romain reminds me of Rowan Atkinson in the way his eyes and body moves. And like Rowan is a genius at comedy. Romain is a genius at paint theory. Great vid. A lot of good info. Thank you.

  • this is great, keep it coming :)

  • he reminds me of that guy from the matrix, the frenchman

  • Need more painting tutorials

  • I am really enjoying this. I can't wait to see more.

  • I would have used a light grey with bone white ontop of it

  • Seems I'm the first person watching this. Could you do a video on TMM, True Metallic Metal and how to paint using that technique?
