@fantasyfiction101 Thats one of the reasons why i love this show so much.Before its always been about Scooby, Shaggy, Daphne, and once Velma got the spotlight singing is that vampire movie.Never about fred.He never really had any charecter eather.This is different, Fred is obsessed with traps, mysteries, and Daphne.I also believe Fred is smarter then you may think.He seems like an airhead but he must be very good at math and the Laws of Physics in order for his traps to even work. To be honest, back in the old show Fred was blander than All Brans. I'm pretty happy they gave him something to go with in this version too. Although I feel they're still playing with his character from back then.
@Micks4Lifee thats cause the creators wanted to aim for the older group of people... yeah little kids can watch it but the creators wanted those older kids that onced loved scooby doo to start watching it again. thats why its darker, has actuall teen drama, and for some people, can freakin scare you half to death...
These writers have been so kind to Fred; they've given him family issues, relationship issues, a personality, a cool hobby, awesome lines, and a REALLY scary side when he's pissed!

They're a nice change from the old look while still keeping true to the original gang's signature outfits. I know they're outdated, but Fred just isn't Fred without his ascot, and Daphne's not Daphne without her green ascot-scarf-tie thingy.

@fantasyfiction101 Guess you had to grow up with the early Scooby shows to really appreciate Fred. The live-action Freds are too egotistical and lacking in trap smarts (or, in the case of the latest live-action Fred, lacking absolutely everything but shallow fangirl appeal).
@ztslovebird I watched a lot of the earlier series he was really boring in those series too. I just never really liked fred at all. My top favorites are Scooby and Daphne.
Professor Pericles lived for more than 20 years since the original M. Inc, birds in real life usually don't live that long, he is definitely one bad ass animal XD

HEY GUYS heres wat i believe.i believe that the sheriff is brad and judy is eather not around anymore or she left him. just look at the picture of brad and then look at the sheriff and youll see they look alike. he had to get a new name in order to come back to town. y isent the sheriff saying anything or y is he throwing his son in jail, mabey he dosent want fred to solve this mystery cause of the curse. mabey the mayor dident no but that would exsplane y he and the sheriff were close friends.
This show is alright,however the animation style is annoying.
I miss the older style,the voice acting in the version is great though.
Frank Welker still doing Fred and continuing Scooby, Casey Kasem does Shaggy's father now which a nice nod to the classic Scooby and Mathew Lillard does a pretty good Shaggy voice.

There will be a season 2 of Mystery Incorporated and Mitch Watson, the producer, said it would be realeased sometime in September or October. That's what I've heard all over the internet. Hopefully it's not that long of a wait becuase that cliffhangr is going to kill me very second of every day until it comes back on.
Poor Fred and Daphne!! They're both heartbroken and now I am too becuase he broke off the engadment!! :'(
Hopefully they'll get back together and get married in season 2. :)

@boosie1596 is that really true? was it announced on the website or something? wut u say about the network is correct though. some of my favorite shows on cartoon network have been cancelled (symbionic titan) or forced to finish early (secret saturdays). it's really quite a shame. despite the network's overall mediocrity, they tend to put out a couple really great shows every year, but then completely mismanage them. i really hope they let this show finish the story.
@boosie1596 I'm sorry, but you are misinformed. There is another season. The creators said at Comic Con, the next season was already completed, and that it will air "soon." If it was cancelled, then the show's creators and producers probably wouldn't have been able to appear at Cartoon Network's booth at Comic Con 3 days ago. But they did, and they confirmed another season had been made. Its nbd, this happens all the time with the internet :)

This show is alright,however the animation style is annoying.
I miss the older style,the voice acting in the version is great though.
Frank Welker still doing Fred and continuing Scooby, Casey Kasem does Shaggy's father now which a nice nod to the classic Scooby and Mathew Lillard does a pretty good Shaggy voice.

He still did what he did (of his own free will by the way) and now he must face the consequences for his actions. And if you think Fred is upset, just imagine how Brad and Judy must feel, they were tricked into leaving their home and their baby boy was taken from them to make sure they never came back.

There will be a season 2 of Mystery Incorporated and Mitch Watson, the producer, said it would be realeased sometime in September or October. That's what I've heard all over the internet. Hopefully it's not that long of a wait becuase that cliffhangr is going to kill me very second of every day until it comes back on.
Poor Fred and Daphne!! They're both heartbroken and now I am too becuase he broke off the engadment!! :'(
Hopefully they'll get back together and get married in season 2. :)

@boosie1596 is that really true? was it announced on the website or something? wut u say about the network is correct though. some of my favorite shows on cartoon network have been cancelled (symbionic titan) or forced to finish early (secret saturdays). it's really quite a shame. despite the network's overall mediocrity, they tend to put out a couple really great shows every year, but then completely mismanage them. i really hope they let this show finish the story.

@boosie1596 I'm sorry, but you are misinformed. There is another season. The creators said at Comic Con, the next season was already completed, and that it will air "soon." If it was cancelled, then the show's creators and producers probably wouldn't have been able to appear at Cartoon Network's booth at Comic Con 3 days ago. But they did, and they confirmed another season had been made. Its nbd, this happens all the time with the internet :)
