I think Mel C and Geri for instance paid so much attention to their solo careers, or at least Mel C that they sacrificed the group. Since Northern Star was a moderate hit, she thought she could have a successful career by her own when instead they should've regrouped again and infuse more longevity into the band. I think they were dumb. Mel C has been doing the same record for like 10 years now and flopping harder every time. Is that what she wanted? sad.

Thats true but the money part is wrong. I saw this interview with Emma in Febuary 2007 and they asked her if she was still making money from the Spice Girls in the late 1990s and she said yes and the guy asked her if it was 6 figures or more and she said yes.

I think the 3rd album was ok. There was some good songs on there but it wasn't the same without Geri. It didn't feel like a true 'Spice' album. I hope they come out with one more album with the 5 of them.

Geri may have helped them write it...BUT it wasn't actually a SONG...on a CD, on the radio, recorded, released with a video...until Geri had LEFT...and they REPEATEDLY said that the song was not about Geri leaving, including on another documentary...and in THIS video, Emma very clearly states that it was "ABOUT GERI LEAVING". So maybe 'originally' it wasn't, but by the time it was released...apparently, it was. And they denied that fact for years. Until now.

I'm sorry, but I'm having a hard time understanding your post. So, when the song wasn't on a CD, it wasn't about Geri, but when it made it to CD, it was about Geri?

The song was written before she left the group and recorded years before their last cd. How can the song be about her leaving when she didn't even leave yet?

It just doesn't make sense to me.

It wasn't released UNTIL she was gone. And as evident by Emma's statement they consider it to be about Geri. Emma clearly says that they "talked about Geri leaving with Goodbye".

Which contradicts what they *claimed* for years.

I'm talking about what they considered the song to be, not who wrote it or when.

So yes, when it wasn't on a CD it, when it was words on paper, it was not about Geri. When it was released, they considered it to be about her.

I'm just going by what Emma says right there.
