I was too busy seeing anything that moves glitching into each other to admire the animations.

It's a shame, the animations ARE good.. But my character always glitches out and is somehow inside the dragon and it's supposed to mount its head, and when my character sticks a sword into someone, you can plainly see that it's just the sword running through him as if he's a ghost and sort of shaking around like the hole it made was three times bigger than it actually is.

Yeah and this game is shit. Ultra disappointment due to the fact its the most boring least challenging thing ever. Tell me to level secondary skills? Tell you to fuck off! Lets be honest the only thing that has changed since Arena is the animation. Story depth? Pfft its a 5 minute long story chain which is nil in comparison to Oblivion. Dungeons don't scale with difficulty. Level 40 master difficulty and there is few things I cant 5 shot. Dragon shouts suck, dragons suck, the ending sucks.

@victor714ps3 Depends on your level. If you are under level 45 (correct me if I'm wrong) you can't get it yet. If you're on high level, you should get it from the mages' college in Winterhold. Talk to the guy who can teach you in conjuration.

And yes, consoles are holding us back. PC hardware is so much more powerful than current generation consoles that it's been holding back the gaming industry. Crysis 2 is a prime example of how much a game had to downgrade (to play on consoles) even after a near 4 year increase in the power of available hardware.

To think Sony wants the PS3 to last 10 years.. ugh.

I save $65 month for 4 years, I end up with 3210 dollars and interest for a fucking nice build and some quality games. I only buy games that I am 100% sure I will get everything out of them which is rare, if the games seem "ok" or "decent" I don't buy them. Sony and Microsoft want to get rid of allowing used game sales, imagine how fucked console gamers are if that happens?

Skyrim is a great game, but when something retarded happens (which is often) it can make you either mad or really happy depending on what it is. For example: when there is a bug preventing you from finishing a quest you get pissed. But when you use ice form on a frost troll on a mountain and they start spinning in the air you crack up.

I know it would have been super difficult to fix in a game like this....but one thing i dont like is that the fighting is always the same. I wish they could have done come choreographed sword play or something so that its not always "left slice, right slice, power bash, standing power attack for the kill."

@Agent00abe He does have a point though, Skyrim did lack depth and variation. Sure, it's an RPG, but it wasn't a very good one. It has terrible writing (like all Bethesda games), repetitive quests that involved "go to this cave, kill these things" or "go to this dungeon, get me this item" for most of the game. Lack of character development or achievement for doing things. You save all of Skyrim but people still treat you like some peasant.

@TileWonder People play Elder Scrolls games because of the shitload amount of content it has. Everything gets incredibly repetitive after a while though (blame the radiant quest system). It keeps you hooked for some god forsaken reason though even if everything in the game is made for children. I'd go to Dragon Age for the meaningful story

If you're a fan of RPG's and played your fare share you would see just how shallow Skyrim actually is. It's been streamlined too much. Not to mention the game gets very repetitive because Bethesda relied way to much on their Radiant Quest system with it's randomly generated quests that had nothing but repetitive objectives where you had to kill or find an item in a dungeon.

And mods made it possible for me to REALLY enjoy the game. I suggest you check out the mods, they are fantastic.

And the dragons are only weak if you get over lvl 30 and continue to play on adept, at that point you should turn it up to 'master' difficulty if you still want a challenge.

Dialogue mistakes is a problem with writing/scripting, not A.I. A.I. is what governs the NPC's actual behavior (where they go, how they behave in combat, etc.)
