Awesome guest sensei! I subbed to her straight away! Such simple sentences but what a huge boost on vocabulary with bit as simple as zutsu. Awesome! ^_^
HOLY SHIT! IS THAT A WIRELESS ROUTER!? WOW! THAT IS A GREAT WIRELESS ROUTER THE ONE WITH TWO ANTENNAE. I DIDN'T KNOW THEY HAD THAT KIND IN JAPAN. IT HAS THE BEST RATE FOR TRANSFERING BITS AND BYTES OVER A LONG PERIOD. And it's the old school blue and black, I wonder if Cisco certified it? I wonder if it has a DS link?
UJAMES1978 look like a stone cold killer. Family Guy! Stewie. Maggiesensei is a good site.
Maggie looks bored. She misses going to the shrine and chasing cats while you drink.
I started off as Gimmeabreakman and used this channel just to do responses. I only made a few vids teaching Japanese on Gimmeabreakman and then answered questions on Gimmeaflakeman. Eventually the demand for J-lessons grew, and since Gimmeabreakman is also a variety channel I decided to put all the Japanese for Morons series on this channel.
@Danoftouni Don't sweat it too much. First, you can always fall back on the standard ones (hitotsu, futatsu etc). Second, even Japanese people don't know the very obscure ones. I always compare it to the English names for groups of animals (swarm of bees, herd of cows, flock of seagulls etc). Few English speakers know that it's a parliament of apes (I'm not kidding) and just say 'group'.
My vet says they were not in the past. We got Maggie because we liked her and I wanted to save her from that crappy vet store. Are they popular now? I don't see many. It's a hot country in the summer, and they don't do well in the heat.
If they are popular now it's probably because there was a Frenchie in a TV show a year or 2 back. I never saw the show, but I heard about it.
@Gimmeabreakman I think that it was Hiroko from Hirokochannel that mencionate it once. So I asked some of my Japanese friends, mostly the girls, what they though. They actually agreed that right now French bulldog, was kind of trendy right now... I just wanted to have your opinion. In the end all that matters is Maggie-sensei seems quite happy living in Japan. It would be good if all domestic animals would be as happy as Maggie-sensei!! ^_^
This is so much different from English. It all makes sense now, though. Thanks!

So is this correct?---->店で俺たちはゲームを六つずつ買った。(We each bought 6 games at the store)
and
私たちは10,000円を持ったのに、シャツだけを九つずつ枚買うことができました。(Even though we each had 10,000 yen, we could only buy 9 shirts each.)
Thanks to anyone who corrects me if I'm wrong ^_^
artboy598 1 year ago
@artboy598
店で俺たちはゲームを六つずつ買った。is correct.
私たちは10,000円を持ったのに、シャツだけを九つずつ枚買うことができました。is wrong. >_<
私たちは10,000円を持っていたのに、シャツを九枚ずつしか買うことができませんでした。
枚 is counter. You can use 枚 for a flat object. and you can add ずつ behind.
Good luck! :)
