  • huuuu huuuu uuuuh hhhh uuuuuh hhhu ............

  • And Iran says it never happened...

  • You have outdone yourself with a creepy video that perfectly fits the song

  • One of the few fan-made vids I've seen where the video is even more powerful than the song.

  • touching.

    sufjan's a genius..

  • amazing

  • thank you, seattlejam....

  • God it's so awful when you see it like this. I mean, it is anyway but it really really affects you when it's shown so realisticly like this. But we have to remember what happened there; that is so important.

  • This is the creepiest song i've ever loved.

There's just something about it...it's depressing yet uplifting...its paradoxical.

  • @cloxwork there is this song by Red called Pieces and it does the same thing to me. Musically its slow and sad, but lyrically its uplifting and supportive

  • Have you read The Prophet by Kahil Gibran? The section on death really connects with your video for me.

"And when the earth shall claim your limbs, then shall you truly dance"

  • I want those people to see me cry about it.

  • Look at those faces, suffering patiently with resignation. I wonder if these images were taken by the liberators?

  • I see this as the very best video on youtube. It gets me teary everytime I watch it.

  • learning about the holocaust put me in a depression last year. seeing how sufjan stevens perfectly made this song just makes me love him even more.

  • This is.. perfect.

  • This is very beautiful and heart breaking.

  • What an amazing concept for this song. The music set to these images is heartbreaking and beautiful. nice work.

  • this made me cry. beautiful.

  • very well put together!! it's beautiful

  • Beatiful and very sad... Original idea to set these images of suffering caused by sin of mankind to a song which is about the desire to a perfect place where is no sin and only love...

  • This is beautiful...a profound theme to set this song to. I am truly amazed and love this video. It portrays the devastation and pain perfectly with words that suit it at a level of understanding fit for any age.
